The bundles are currently outselling the X1 by 3:1 on Amazon which tallies with other figures we had a while back. I'd say this IS a fair assessment of how well the PS4 is selling compared to the X1

Oh man the PS4 is #1 again on Amazon! I'm sure soon Sony will thank God and everybody that has helped them make it this far via a public radio address.

It means nothing in terms of this year, I agree, but this 'trend' has occurred several times now which suggest it could carry over into 2014 when fulfilling demand becomes creating demand.

I got there and there was 6 people inline. I saw 1 PS4 on the back counter on top of 3 Xbox 1. I was praying to dear god that no one in front of me was there for it. It was still there when I got to the register so I asked if they have any for sale.

"No, sold out."

I was strucked with bewilderment and crestfallen! "But I called not 10 minutes ago..."

"Yea, sorry."

So I hung my head and walked out thinking how I should of kept the Amazon order; maybe that was sold out too and I missed another chance.

"Wait!" I heard. "Theres 1 left. Im sorry."

Turns out the ps4 on the counter was unclaimed! Now im so happy!

I think he means, if Sony can produce 1 million units a month and sell them in one day and MS can produce one million a month and sell them in one month, the end result is the same: They both sell 1 million a month. However, it does show there's likely to be more demand next year for the PS4 when both companies have to assess how many to produce to meet post Christmas demand. At the moment it's Sony's to lose.

The PS4 BF4 bundle rate has increased to 18 a minute so it is on for selling out in under 9 minutes now.
