1. Dark Souls 2 : What surprised me the most about the pre-release stuff weren't the concerns about streamlining but the stuff that came after that. From's confidence to change mechanics and systems that I didn't even think they even would bother to. I honestly just expected them to make "more Souls" and stop there. From the humanity, dual-wielding and making sure that every stat actually mattered. The impressions from the beta have been very positive and it promises to be more open-ended in its design than the first Dark Souls. Hell yeah I'm excited.

2. Wolfenstein The New Order : A Console, Single-Player focused FPS from former Starbreeze employees who worked on Riddick and The Darkness? Sign me up. That's not all though, Wolfenstein have pretty interesting mechanics going for it like being able to dual wield almost every weapon in your arsenal(that's not restricted to two), a health system that combines regen, health pickups and over-healing, an actual leaning system that's not context sensitive...etc. As long as they nail variety in level design and enemies, this could turn out to be one of my favorite console FPS games in a long time.

3. Witcher 3 : I'm interested to see how CD Projeckt will translate their quest design into an actual open world. I really like what I played from the Witcher 2, if they just improve the combat engine then this could turn out to an all time classic.

4. Thief : Yeah... I was disappointed with some of the changes like the removal manual jumping but just looking at some of the gameplay videos and hearing some of the recent improvements made me actually genuinely interested in it. Also, I just love the visual style.

5. Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes : The way they're handling the release of this game and Phantom Pain is just... stupid. No other way about it but I've loved or liked every mainline, console MGS game. I'm interested to see how the more open ended level design will pan out with this game.

6. Dragon Age Inquisition : Have been playing Origins lately and I'm really digging it. Hopefully I might have a decent PC once this launches.
7. Broken Age
8. Persona 5

2. Destiny: Space magic looks fun.
3. The Order 1886: I'm drawn to the setting.
4. Halo 5: Cautiously optomistic.
5. Ultra Street Fighter IV: See avatar.
6. Call of Duty: Infinity Ward won't be making it.
7. Infamous Second Son
8. The Witcher 3
9. The Division
10. Watch_Dogs

1. inFamous Second Son ; Had a blast with the first two ones and SS looks to be no different.
2. Watch Dogs ; The delay may have hampered the hype a bit but I'm still very much looking forward to play with Aiden and his cool tricks.
3. Murdered: Soul Suspect ; One of the more refreshing storys in video games in recent years.
4. Rime ; Lovely artwork.
5. The Order 1886 ; Need to see more of it but setting and early shots look promising indeed.
6. Project CARS ; Racing simulation, baby.
7. The Division ; As with The Order I need to see more of it to get an idea. But boy does it look amazing.
8. Trials Fusion Apparently, it's going to be $60 box game now? Well, I remain hopeful Ubisoft doesn't screw up the game too much. The previous entries were a lot of fun.

1. Super Smash Bros. Wii U: The only mp game to last my buddies and I longer than a year. We loved brawl and what we know of this new iteration can only mean it'll be better.

I don't think I'd put Persona 5 on here because I doubt we'll even see the damn thing reach our shores until 2015. Spiritually, it takes that 2 spot.

SargerusBR

I love Pokken!
1. Dark Souls II - The sequel to the GOTG, i can't wait to dive in the lore and gameplay once again
2. Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2

1. Super Smash Bros. For Wii U : It's Smash Bros. Even though my expectations are low from the previous title in the franchise, it's still my most hyped game of the year.
2. Dark Souls II : Has looked amazing since it was revealed, and played amazing during the demos I was fortunate enough to play. I don't expect it to top the original (the game of the generation), but I wouldn't be surprised if it took home my GOTY award for 2014, honestly.
3. The Evil Within : Shinji Mikami direction survival horror? Can't wait.
4. Mario Kart 8 : I'm honestly surprised how excited I am for this game. I wasn't even that hyped for Double Dash, and my first Kart was 64. It looks (and plays, for what that's worth) fantastic.
5. X : Monolithsoft's first stab at an RPG on the Wii U. It looks incredible. Nuff said.
6. Bayonetta 2 : Played the demo of this, amazing. Can't wait for the final game.
7. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes : Only the demo. I'm pretty sure MGSV proper will be my #1 most anticipated 2015 game :p

1. The Witness - I think Blow is a smart guy and the game looks interesting
2. Dark Souls 2 - it would be my number one but I'm afraid it will suck
3. Witcher 3 - loved TW1/2 but after DkS I'm not sure I can enjoy the combat. Plus I won't be able to run it.

There might be something else but I can't think of it.

Only games I can think of are.

1. Bayonetta
2. Smash Bros 4
3. Monolith Softs X
4. The Evil Within
5. Titanfall
6. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
7. Mario Kart Wii U

Even then I'm not super hyped. Games like Sunset Overdrive/1988 whatever get on points for flashy CGI trailers. Sick of those

1. Bayonetta 2 : Sequel to my favorite game of last gen so of course I'm hyped for this.
2. Steins;Gate : Very glad this is getting a US release.
3. The Evil Within : Made by the father of Resident Evil so I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint.
4. Bravely Default : Looks really great and has some of the same writing staff as Steins;Gate
5. Drakengard 3 : Loved Nier and want more.
6. Danganronpa : Seems up my alley plus the AA+Persona comparison seems promising.
7. Persona 5 : I liked 4 so looking forward to this a bit.
8. Gravity Rush 2 : Hoping they polish up the combat and add some interesting moves to this one.
9. Ultra Street Fighter IV : I know they won't make it less ugly but I'm sure it'll be fun.
10. Murdered: Soul Suspect : This really looked interesting to me ever since seeing a few trailers for it.

5. Titanfall; COD Killer

1. The Order 1886 (I've got to see these Soft Body Physics, and I can't resist Galahad's Moustache. RaD can talk up a game pretty well.)

2. Destiny (I've never owned an Xbox console, but I've played plenty of Halo. I don't care for the story or the main "character" so as long as Destiny can bring some of that vertical gameplay, I'm sold. Bungie is a good developer.)

3. Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (Anticipating and worried about)

4. inFamous Second Son (inFamous has always been fun. I'm hoping SP can do some great stuff with the gameplay)

5. Treyarch Call of Duty (I like Call of Duty, and ever since IW splintered after Modern Warfare 2, Treyarch has been top dog in terms of pushing the franchise forward. With more time to develop for Next Gen hardware, and a more spirited design [just look at any of the Zombies DLC maps, they're insane], I'm excited to see what they can pull off)

6. The Witcher 3 (First Witcher game, but I've heard good things)

7. Smash Bros. Wii U (Don't have a Wii U and don't plan on getting one, but I'm sure that somehow, I'll play Smash Bros. Hope it turns out well.)

8. Dying Light (I didn't like Dead Island, but what's been shown of Dying Light seems to fix most of my problems with the game, though the environment is kind of drab.)

9. Dynasty Warriors 8 PS4 (I like me some Musou, and I skipped the current gen DW8.)

10. Watch_Dogs (Lost a lot of interest since E3 2012, hopefully the delay really shows improvement)

1. X - This game could potentially be everything I've always wanted for an RPG. J-style, open world, multiplayer, giant fucking robots, beautiful scenery.
2. Smash Bros 4 - My favorite multiplayer series of all time and I have confidence this will be the best entry yet. Can't wait.
3. Bravely Default - Huge fan of classic Final Fantasy and this looks like an improvement on such a style.
4. Persona 5 - Not only do I collect SMT games, I happen to enjoy playing them quite a lot, and how amazing Golden is shows that the series is only going to keep improving.
5. Pillars of Eternity - Return to form for the CRPG? Here's hoping.
6. Witcher 3 - Game looks incredibly beautiful, I just hope the combat got some focus on improvement as well.
7. Destiny - I haven't played an online shooter in a long time, but this... this could make me do so again. Faith in Bungie.
8. Transistor - Loved Bastion, I will love this.
9. The Evil Within - I think it'll actually be good guys.
10. SMTxFE - The name is all we have and the name is all I need for HYPE.

1. Persona 5; Long overdue for all the fans of the series. Considering this is my favorite video game series, its position in this top 10 was all but assured.
2. Monolith Soft's "X"; After playing Xenoblade for the first time this year, this game quickly got me hyped with its reveal trailer. The promise of a big and expansive open world with so many things to do, without forgetting that it is an RPG and having a storyline to follow is what excites me the most.
3. Watch_Dogs; I normally don't play that many western games, but this one got me pretty intrigued with its many trailers and how it plays. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.
4. Super Smash Bros for Wii U/ 3DS; Doesn't make sense to put them as separated games, since I'm pretty sure that they will be released at the same time and they feature the same core gameplay. With so many hours put into Smash Bros Brawl, it would be weird for me to not be interested in this one.
5. Bravely Default; I'm a filthy North American, and that's why we're getting this game late :(
6. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth; Again, I'm a big Persona fan, but the other games have me more excited than this one, plus its gameplay will be closer to Etrian Odyssey than Persona. Doesn't mean I'm not excited for this one, on the contrary. So many great games this upcoming year.
7. Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 Remix. Two of the best games in the franchise in a single package with HD support to boot. What's not to like?
8. Trigger Happy Havoc Dangan Ronpa; Excited about this one, though it's a shame that it is only the first game.
9. Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd (import); Eh... What can I say? I fell in love with this series this year, and it has a few of my favorite songs in it. Not higher because we still don't have a localization announcement.
10. Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem; A big fan of both series, but first we need to see more info about this to be higher on my list. A wild card to be sure.

4 - Dead State
5 - The Age of Decadence
6 - Dark Souls II
7 - Stasis
8 - Incognita
9 - Wasteland 2
10 - The Witcher 3

P.S: I think Pillars of Eternity won't be released next year so I didn't include it on this list.

1.Halo 5- I loved Halo CE and Halo 2 but then Bungie ruined the series with Halo 3 and Reach. Halo 4 was great to me so I'm excited to see where they will take the next one.

2.Titanfall- I loved the original IW games and Titanfall looks great as always so I'm hyped.

3.Infamous Second Son- While the series has been lackluster I've always seen charm in it so hopefully they can make big strides with this one.

4.Quantum Break- I'm really interested in the tv show/game approach plus it's Remedy.

5.Project Spark- You can create your own game, what else is there to say.

6.DriveClub- I like car game plus it's free with plus.

7.Fable Legends- I'm a huge fan of the Fable series and have never been let down so far so I can't wait to get my hands on this.

8.Sunset Overdrive- DAT art style

9.Watchdogs- I love the whole hacking thing so I hope the final game comes together for them.

10.Rime- I'm hoping that it's open world because it looks amazing even though I wasn't a fan of their last game.

1. X - Monolithsoft, Gears (mechs to those unfamiliar with the Xenoverse), HD, can not wait!

2. Blade & Soul - I hope it will have an English release in 2014 but if not I'll be playing the Chinese version with the unofficial English patch. Could play it now I suppose but I have a backlog to clear first.

3. Wildstar - As long as the beta (when I get into it) doesn't put me off, I have high hopes for this.

4. Witcher 3 - doesn't really need explaining.

5. Lily Bergamo - one incredibly short but stylish trailer with zero gameplay, yet I want it so much.

6. Bayonetta 2 - loved the 1st. Very exited for number 2.

7. Tbc

8. Tbc

9. Tbc

10. Final Fantasy XV - Ranked lower because I have my doubts it will make 2014 release in English but I am pretty hyped for it.

1. Dark Souls 2: I can't wait to see more of the amazingly executed dark fantasy art style along with a superior minimalistic storytelling. I hope From achieves what they set out to do.
2. Persona 5: I'm really looking forward to see how a new Persona game on the PS3 will end up looking like, and perhaps innovate upon the genre.
3. Witcher 3: This looks like a more content and more polished successor to Witcher 2. I like the ambience and atmosphere CDProjekt achieved with Witcher 2 and I hope they repeat the same level of worldbuilding with this game.
4. Pillars of Eternity: I've backed this, but was originally put off by the generic fantasy art direction. However, thanks to the recent footage, I'm really excited on how this will end up.
5. Dreamfall Chapters: Big fan of the original games and I hope Red Thread Games are able to pull off something that's deserving of the series' quality standards in terms of characterization and writing.
6. Wasteland 2: InXile seems to be an admirable development team with a lot of heart.
7. Broken Age: Love the art style and I've always apprecated Double Fine's smaller games despite their shortcomings. Maybe BA will revive more top-tier point 'n click games?
8. Transistor: The turn-based aspect makes this a must-play for me, as I didn't care much for Bastion's Diablo-like constant clicking without much thought and strategy.
9. Child of Light: I'm intrigued by the inspirations of the game and the premises sounds interesting.
10. Banner Saga: I've backed this as well and I really appreciate the Norse cultural thing they're going for. I hope the team succeeds, despite the unwarranted backlash they've received.

1: Division
2: Destiny
3: Second Son
4. The Order
5. Drive Club
6. watch dogs
7.Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
8. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
9. Rime

1. Mount & Blade II - Bannerlord: The updated graphics are underwhelming, but I'm sure it will be fun as hell to play.
2. Persona 5: It's about time we got a sequel.
3. Infamous - Second Son: The first two games are great and it's a genre that could greatly benefit from running on a more powerful system.
4. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Hopefully it will make it to 2014.
5. Deep Down: I'm always willing to play any RPG with high production value even though this looks a bit janky.
6. DriveClub: I opted out of getting Gran Turismo 6 and I think this will be my yearly racing game instead.
7. Don't Starve: It's a PS+ freebie.
8. The Witness: The puzzles look innovative and it's colorful.
9. The Legend of Heroes - Trails in the Sky - Second Chapter: The first game was alright.
10. Metal Gear Solid V: The series jumped the shark with MGS4 otherwise I would have ranked it higher.

1.) X (WiiU) - Huge open world, flyable MECHS, giant dinos, Tetsuya Takahashi at the helm and Kunihiko Tanaka character designs. I had a blast just walking around in Xenoblade, and there was a ton of stuff to do. A successor to that game with better character designs and in HD is going to be awesome. I'm always there for Xeno-whatever and this is no exception.
2.) Drakengard 3 (PS3) - Nier is one of my favorites from the last gen. While I enjoyed the insane stories of Drakengard, the gameplay wasn't very good. The action looks decent in 3 and the music is and story are going to be godly for sure. I am just so surprised this game exists after Cavia died.
3.) Trails in the Sky Second Chapter (PC/PSP) - Where is the love for this game? The good folks at Carpe Fulgar are busting their asses to translate this monster of a game. Some lamented XSEED and said it would never see the light of day, but it is coming. I can easily see myself taking over 100 hours with this game, just talking to all the NPCs. The story is really supposed to pick up in this one.
4.) Super Smash Bros. 4 (WiiU/3DS) - Going to be a blast. With Namco on board, the online should be competent. I hope.
5.) Donkey Kong Country Returns: Tropical Freeze (WiiU) - One of my favorite series, and the original Returns was very good, but not as good as DKC 2. The fact that David Wise is back on board for the music has me very excited.
6.) Yumi's Odd Odyssey (3DS)
7.) Steins;Gate (PC) - I don't really know anything about it other than it is a VN, but It seems to be placed in high regard. A mind-bending story is what I am expecting.
8.) Bayonetta 2 (WiiU)
9.) Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3)
10.) Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (Vita)

Edit- Shoot, totally forgot about Yumi's Odd Odyssey

1. Titanfall : An fps parkour mech game from the people who brought me my 2 most played fps games of all time, COD2 and 4. I have faith/trust that these guys will deliver, and i have been really hungry for a new infinity ward game, its been a while.

2. Dragon age Inquisition : I love the story and characters behind this series, as well as their combat/rpg elements (even DA2, i loved DA2 combat). The new game seems to be a mesh DA2 combat and open world exploration, my biggest issue with DA2 being solved with the sandbox. This is looking like a great game so far and mixes some of my favorite elements from both games, as it stands now it looks like the perfect dragon age game for me, yet time will tell.

3. Infamous second son : I love this series, pretty much everything there is to love outside of the story. I find it ok, yet this new entry has me interested on that front, with a new more interesting character imo as well as new, more interesting abilities (and the option to change your power set or learn new moves from other conduits? Awesome). Im hoping this game will live up to the hype, as its gorgeous and has me pretty damn excited/hopeful for s great game, just as the last 2 have been. (With a story more tailored for me as well)

4. Destiny : Bungie returns with an mmo hybrid FPS? Yes please, after years of borderlands and WoW this is a game tailor fit for me. Most excited for the raid possibilities. However the game getting pushed to september kind of ruined a lot of my excitement. As the time gets closer my hype levels will grow for this game, yet as its so far off (almost a year) its hard to get worked up, even though i have loved every little thing they have outed regarding this game.

5. South park: stick of truth : We have been waiting for this game for as long as i cam remember, after THQ went under the game was picked up by ubi/obsidian and delayed numerous times. I really love how they bridged the show into the game as well as made the art style that of the show (EXACTLY like the show, which i have been waiting for since they started making south park games) , and its an rpg no less?

6. The order 1886 : Another game that is looking like its tailor fit for me. The setting is perfect (judging from the amazing art thats been put out) as well as their choice of third person combat where melee matters, against some sort of creatures. Theres still a lot we don't know about this game just yet, but what we have seen, i have loved, every bit of it.

7. KH2.5HD : My 2 favorite games , of my favorite franchise, all on one disc (yes, this means they are my 2 favorite games of all time) remastered in HD, with updated music as well has Final Mix content? My hype for this is ridiculous, yet we don't have a release date for the west yet, so until then, this game will have to sit at #7.

8. Watch dogs : We have seen the videos (damn have we seen videos) and its time this game just came out already, it was on track and then pushed back last minute. I have been interested in this game since its reveal, but am now done with watching videos and just want to play it already.

9. Smash bros wii u : The game that made me buy a wii u. I have too much nostalgia for smash brothers and love the memories the series creates on its own. I was young the last time i played the series (skipped brawl due to not wanting/owning a wii at the time, judging from the comments, i was right to skip it lol) so heading into the series now... Where theres online play, is going to blow my mind. I foresee many late nights of smash and just learning the characters and finding a main etc.

10. The Witcher 3 : I have been closely following this one, as i hope its story interests me just as much as the last 2 have, i have already seen the combat in videos/read the interviews on the subject, and it seems thats going to be tighter, which is always good news. Still a great deal we don't know about the game other than their vision for it and its combat/open world, so waiting to see more.

Is X confirmed for next year? If so put it on my list at 5 and slide everything else down.

1) Infamous: Second Son : First AAA title for my PS4, fan of the other games and Sucker Punch.
2) Super Smash Brothers (WiiU) : Can't wait for that glorious Hi-Def Smash Brothers, and the remote play should be a nice option as well.
3) NBA 2K15 : Was super tempted to buy this year's version, but I never buy first get sports games as they never have all the features/look as good as they can because they're always upscaled versions of lastgen builds. Plus 2K15 will have the marvelous upcoming draft class Wiggins, Parker, Randel, Smart, etc.
4) The Wolf Among Us : Only one chapter out so far, but it was fantastic. Looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.
5) The Order : Really don't know much about this, but from what I've seen, looks good. New IP, First Party, PS4. I'm in.
6) Metal gear Solid Ground Zeroes: A little bummed the more I hear about it being an expensive Demo, but isn't likely to stop me from scooping this up.
7) Donkey Kong Country Tropical whatever : Can't remember the rest of the title, but this should be an awesome remote play candidate while I watch NBA/NFL games.
8) Drive Club : Normally wouldn't really care about this, but since it will be free, you have my attention.
9) Final Fantasy X (Vita) : Never finished this game on the PS2. look forward to rectifying that now that it's in portable form. I may never touch X2.
10) Destiny : Having a single player campaign of some form seals the deal in picking this over Titanfall.

1. GTA V (PC) - I held off on playing it on current gen because I knew eventually it would come to PC.

2. Witcher 3 - Really enjoyed the first two games and now that the 3rd is open world it can only get more awesome.

3. Watch Dogs - The initial reveal looked awesome and hopefully Ubisoft has worked out the issues that led it to being delayed.

4. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance (PC) - Held off because I felt the game would control better on PC. Also because it's developed Platinum.

5. South Park: Stick of Truth - South Park humor mixed with and RPG developed by Obsidian sounds great to me.

Much harder than I thought this would be....

1. The Division : Co-op, teamplay, fantastic environments and just everything I've been waiting to see realised since the early days of gaming.
2. The Witcher 3 : Looks like everything Skyrim promised to be
3. Diablo III : Love the old dungeon crawling and haven't really had anything scratch that itch, despite some titles I've tried on handhelds. Also didn't want to double dip so have been waiting for PS4 version!!
4. The Order : Looks every bit the title I want in my library. Again, co-op, coming from a great studio and the plot and weapons looks very interesting.
5. Castlevania: LoS2 : Loved the first, felt it was incredibly under rated and cannot wait to sink my teeth into this edition
6. Driveclub : Nothing has come close to the heyday of PGR2 for me and this title promises to deliver all over the place
7. Rime : Looks fantastic, art style direction, atmosphere. Looks like a little adventure game and I feel it will be truly charming
8. Watch Dogs : Heavily into tech and computers so was always going to be a winner with me. The only thing reigning in the excitement thus far is that it sort of feels the same sort of open world as Arkham, Los Santos etc. Haven't seen anything to make me go 'WOW' as of yet. I just like the idea of it.
9. Mario Kart 8 : Would only ever be second to a CTR2 I think :)
10. Destiny : I think I'm pretty much done with FPS now. This has enough to make me wanna see how all the mechanics will be stitched together. The world events on their own sound immense. Excited to see if it can change competitive multiplayer into team focused PvE

1) Destiny, because it's Bungie and ambitious.
2) Watch Dogs, similarly ambitious.
3) The Witcher 3; this is what next-gen fantasy RPGs should look like.
4) Dark Souls 2; for my autistic side.
5) Titan Fall; mostly for the mech combat, can't get excited about ironsight battles.

1. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD: Playing one of the greatest final fantasy games in hd on ps3. What more could I want?
2. Kingdom Hearts II.5 HD ReMix: I don't think I'll be able to resist buying remake of a remake of a remake as long as it has kingdom hearts in the name.
3. Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes: Would have been higher numbered if it had been a full fledged game, but nevertheless, the name MGS cannot be ignored.
4. Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII: I stuck with the saga since the first game, and although tired, I still want to see this to the end. And anyway battle system looks good.
5. Drakengard 3: Loved the first two games so seeing this return was a dream come true.
6. Tales of Xillia 2: I love every tales game as long as it gets localised.
7. Monolith Soft's X: Xenoblade was my most fav console RPG last gen. Can't wait!
8. Castlevania Lords of Shadows 2: The first game was surprisingly good, so definitely anticipating this.
9. Infamous Second Son: Dem graphics. Dem facial expressions. Dat PS4 goodness.
10.The Order 1886: Intriguing concept + Ready at Dawn = excitement

  1. Persona 5- P4 is probably now one of my favorite JRPGs ever, if this is even half as good it'll be well worth the wait.
  2. Infamous: Second Son- Really enjoyed Infamous 1 and 2, in fact they're the only PS excluisves that I think would get me to buy a console just for them
  3. Destiny- Loved the Halo series and enjoyed what I played of the Marathon series. I've got faith in Bungie.
  4. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  5. South Park: The Stick of Truth- Really enjoy Paper Mario styled RPGs and I also really enjoy South Park, so this seems like it could be pretty enjoyable.
  6. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze- Love Donkey Kong Country, and it sounds like the made the changes that I wanted from the last one
  7. Super Smash Bros.- One of my favorite series, just hoping I enjoy this one as much as Melee.
  8. Halo 5- Love Halo, but hated 4. I'm just hoping for the best.
  9. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix- I've been wanting to play KH2 Final Mix for years so I'm pretty hyped for this.
  10. Wolfenstein: The New Order - Haven't played any of the other Wolfenstein games, but I thought this kind of looked diffrent than most of the FPS we've been getting lately so I'm excited about that.

As time goes on and I learn more about the game coming out next year this list will probably change, but for now this is it.

1. Halo: I'm a huge Halo fan. And the prospect of my favourite franchise on a next-gen system at 60hz? And a tie-in TV series to boot? I'm there.
2. Titanfall: I've followed Respawn since day zero and have always had huge respect for the Infinity Ward vets. And I've also played it, which isn't helping the wait, I'll tell ya.
3. Call of Duty: Despite what everyone is saying, the next Call of Duty won't be made by Treyarch. It's Sledgehammer this time round — and as someone who actually enjoyed MW3 quite a bit, I'm intrigued to see what they do.
4. Tom Clancy's The Division: I've seen this game behind closed doors. It looks fun.
5. Destiny: Looks solid and intriguing, if slightly and disappointingly derivative in some areas. Not completely 100% sold on it yet but the hype is creeping up on me...
6. Watch Dogs: Been sold on this since the start. Love open world games and the fact Ubi's doing something different with the genre is certainly piquing my interest — at least until Patriots pops up.
7. Mario Kart 8: Well... it's Mario Kart. What's not to love?
8. Dying Light: Wasn't a fan of Dead Island but this seems to have some genuine fright in it. Should be good.
9. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze: Enjoyed DK's outing on 3DS. Will be great to finally play in HD.
10. Thief: Looks interesting. Got my eye on it.

1. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2

LoS I felt was an excellent game that was handicapped by a poor framerate and some issues with pacing. LoS2 looks to improve upon it with a new engine, more open-ended gameplay, and this is key - no more Chupacabra.

Is X confirmed for next year? If so put it on my list at 5 and slide everything else down.

Yes, Satoru Iwata stated this at the end of their E3 trailer for the game. Stated it in English too so... unless it gets pushed back, it's coming 2014.
