I'm very curious to hear how the different modes are different from one another.

For example, is there a mode with no bots, or do all modes involve the bots? Is there a straight team deathmatch mode, or a domination like mode?

The on foot gameplay looks really awful in terms of bot-hunting. I don't see the appeal of farming AI to get into a titan.

THAT BEING SAID -

The titan gameplay looks simply amazing.

I recall the Halo 3 beta looking like shit, but the actual retail game improving the graphics ten-fold in just a few months. I have a feeling the same thing will happen here, especially since someone confirmed the alpha is running at like 1/4 the textures or something...

I didn't say the game sucked or you were stupid for buying it

Just that the game was very much COD, the shooting, mini map and movement. Not a bad thing since millions like COD

Just new take on COD that is all

Yeah, I read that post. I definitely expect the graphics to improve a lot.

I just mean, I doubt it will ever look as good as Killzone or games like that. But this is the kind of game where I don't need it to have mind blowing graphics. I mean it would be nice. Obviously I would love for the game to have stellar graphics that add to the immersion. But ultimately, this is a game with really fantastic gameplay (that shakes up the FPS genre). I would much rather play this than Killzone, or any other current FPS that has better graphics.

Now, I hope this doesn't fall into the COD routine where every iteration just recycles the same old engine for almost a decade, and with only small upgrades. Yeah, that will be disappointing, and will start to become more noticeable with each release.

I'm not expecting Titanfall to look great especially after seeing the E3 trailer. I'm expecting COD quality graphics which I assume everybody else should too after that trailer. With that said I expect a fresh gameplay experience which is what matters. This game is the first AAA from a newly formed studio with a small staff compared to studios today. We have to be realistic.

I'm expecting Halo to be the Xbox One FPS graphical showcase. If it is not then I will be disapointed.

Yeah, this will be glorious on PC. Going to be SLI Titan's for Titanfall, even though it's overkill.

Ultimately it's up to the invidial to play it, and decide. But I can safely say it does (at least for me). Oh hell yeah it does.

Wait til you're playing and you dash around a corner in your Titan to see 3 of them staring you down. It was quite the oh fuck moment for me.

Framerate does look smooth. You can see a little of bit of a Tribes influence. The AI looks a little concerning.

Was actually thinking about this earlier myself actually. If you hide in a bunch of AI, by the time the enemy player has killed one of them, you will already know where he is and kill his ass.

Hopefully the AI can be improved somewhat so you never know who is who!

They are scary as fuck due to those animations, reminds me of a big, lumbering big daddy, only more flexible.
