And here, we are demonstrated in just how insane Gon actually is, and I think part of that is due to how Greed Island works
I mean shit, letting him blow off your fucking hand to beat him. Bad fucking ass. Shame there wasn't as much details, but hey! It was fucking awesome.

I think chickdigger was banned for posting a similar picture!

Really? I can't see how that would be remotely banworthy =/ *hides the picture behind a link anyway just to be safe*

Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! 21

Making bentos?! That sounds hard! Good thing Nozomi has all her friends to help show her how it's done! Well, I say "all". Most of them don't seem to be any better than Nozomi, and have some very funny ideas about cooking. Thankfully, Rin and Kurumi are more than up to the task of keeping the rest of the girls in line.

And then Never Tacos shows up to attack them because...I dunno, I guess he was bored? Maybe he wanted to make sure their bentos didn't include any tacos. Hahahahaha, I slay myself.

Seitokai Yakuindomo* Episode 3

An ok episode, but still the better option of the high school comedies this season. Just when you think the show will have one of its few romantic scenes, shit like this happens haha. I can't blame it for it though.

Greed Island over! Bisky leaves the party. We're going to see Nigg (lol).

Come to think of it, they probably reordered the whole
Kite thing just to have it here.

ICE is the best thing on the list.

Oh my. Gonna be an interesting night, I guess.

Full Metal Panic! 23

Damn even when Kurz gets his hand and foot cut up good in a fight, his first thought is still about wishing he could get a picture of Melissa. I almost respect that, but at the same time, she's not in the best condition herself at the moment so...put it in the holster for a while, dude.

Gauron's just straight fucked. He just wants chaos and destruction. He doesn't even care if he dies in the process. It's what makes him so dangerous I guess. Fire drill was still fucking lame though, dude.

In the books Gauron admits at one point that one of his only major goals is to
kill Sousuke and rape his corpse.
It sounds kinda cliche but it's very much the kind of guy Gauron is.

Full Metal Panic! 24

Generally what I expected. Nothing great. Tessa breaking down was pretty rough though.

Generally enjoyable series, but not spectacular. I guess the other two seasons are much better with the shift from Gonzo to KyoAni.

Tessa is at her best when she's not at her best. And yes, the next two seasons are stellar.

So more time than it took to produce the show.

Hahaha yeeeeeeeeeeees.

Pilot's Love Song 3

Definitely the strongest out of the episodes so far. We finally get to see the flashback dealing with Superman's past, and while it doesn't give me enough information for FEELS it did give me enough to understand his motives and hate. It seems like Angry Albino has known him for a while.

So far while I like Kal El, he seems a bit useless. He doesn't have natural talent at either flying or shooting, in fact it seems like Claire knows more about this stuff than him. If it wasn't for him being a prince and having enough details to his character design to qualify as main cast, I wouldn't have believed he was protagonist material. I hope his skills get better later on.

This is amazing. I loved every second of it. To be fair I found a little disappointing at first that it didn't have an overall arching story, that it was basically "monster of the week", but it manage to tell a lot in this format. That's the only bad thing I can say about it. The best thing to me was the sound design; it was AMAZING, and it matched the visuals and the stories told perfectly.
That's one thing that my brother commented on when he was watching it but really, I'm not sure how you would have an over-arching plotline for the series. Albeit that it's a supernatural show, it's really just following Ginko's life as he goes from place to place.

There's no overall plot point that makes him do this such a seeking the man who burned down his village and killed his family or some undeniable destiny; it's just what happens in his life.

Is the ef series good?
I've only seen the first series and while it's a bit typically overwrought romance drama, it still has some nice points to it. For all that it reeks of typical Shaft animation cuts, the phone scene is still pretty memorable from the series.

Hahaha. This was also mentioned in the last page. I plan to. Don't worry. Although, is the anime better than the manga? I was actually thinking I would just read the manga.
The manga has far nicer artwork (based Kozue Amano) and a few chapters that never made the cut which help to expand some characters a bit more and Akari is less of a silly idiot and more of a naive, innocent girl than the anime.

On the other hand, the comedy comes to life a bit more in the anime and the voices really help sell it (RIP Athena's VAs.) not to mention it has a delicious Choro Club soundtrack. IT also has a few anime only episodes which the production team made up which are pretty decent considering.

Side note: I'm going to see if I can pop along to the second showing of Patema in February. Maybe this time I'll pay attention to the soundtrack before Geneijin cuts me.

Recently, my sister is self-conscious over her small breast 3

Is it weird that I find the cake eating scene the lewdest thing to happen since the show started?

Everything else has done nothing for me.

Finished the second storyline focusing on the Gessen Academy Girls, that was really, really good. And I love how near the end
Yumi teased Homura about being in love with Asuka, which in turn she stammered like crazy in trying to deny it.

Asuka x Homura OTP!!

You haven't been around FigureGAF in a while. :p
is there a figureGAf thread ?

Already ? you're fast .. aren't you going too fast ?

Wait you are skipping the solo stories , right ? You should do them now that you've finished each school campaign.
Especially now since the third campaign is a different tone ( darkest story of the franchise IMO )

I get that love is complicated and all, but you really shouldn't be feeling bad for yourself because Masaru is visiting your chronically sick classmate when she's in the hospital, Hadzuki. She got it eventually though.

Trumpet Masaru is best Masaru.

You know, I really wonder if they did this on purpose or if they really had no idea.

Right. I haven't done the solo stories yet, guess I'll do Hanzo and Gessen's as you suggest before I begin the third campaign. Will probably re-do a number of missions too as I got terrible scores on them the first playthrough.

But how can she play him like a flute if he's playing for other girls?

My god.

What a piece of absolutely gorgeous animation. Absolutely stunning in its visual caliber, mixed in a perfect storm with amazing sound design and that familiar, bittersweet distance that resonates so deeply the entire 45 minutes (and a good dub cast, to boot), this is unmistakably a Shinkai work through and through. His exploration on the various meanings of that 'distance' that separates wandering hearts from each other continues here as he focuses on the distance of ages: a barrier that never shrinks and stands verboten to be spoken of. The pressures that are applied externally, the uncertainty that dwells within.

While his storytelling can be a be bit lacking, overly dramatic and been-there-done-that when viewed in context of his other works, he still makes it a very powerful, stunning, heart-aching ride.
