Wipeout is native res the vast majority of the time. I will say, though, if you're getting that impression from the HD/Fury DLC, there's a bug where you have to pause and unpause ingame or it won't jump up to native res.

Majority of people who own a vita are going to own another console too.

If a month sees multiple new games for console a and one year + old port of a game for console b, most people will get the games for console a.

The hope would then be that they pick up the game for console b the next time they have the cash, but there will probably be new games out for console a then (and console b too), so the same choice may need to be made again. Also, the purchaser may have forgetten about the original game or lost interest in buying it by then, especially if one of the games they bought in the meantime is of the same genre.

It may have been the release date at some point and then they used some software to schedule that Tweet as part of their marketing push closer to release then forgotten about. You'd be amazed how far in advance some tweets are scheduled.

I was going to be all over that on day 1 but since the announcement I got myself a nvidia shield and I can stream this maxed out in 720p at 60fps with perfect console controls... Still curious to see how it looks. Seems it's just a straight port with no exclusive character either, missed opportunity for hardcore fans that maxed out everything already in 2 years.

Not on Vita, but this month we had free Borderland 2 for PS3 in PSPlus. And in march we'll have inFamous and, probably, DriveClub, two big releases for PS4.

Is quite easy to assume that most Vita users are also PSPlus and-or PS4 users. Also, If they are PS4 users they'll have PSPlus, for sure.

So the chances of finding a target that "has PSVita but not PS4 or PSPlus, and is interested for Borderland 2 but doesn't bought it yet for any platform or free with PSPlus" is quite small.

Hope it's a good port. No doubt it will be sub-native resolution, but if they can keep a decent framerate I might double dip...

Sony says that most PSVita users are PS3 users, and we assume that they know it, because they manage the PSN accounts, so they can know easily how many of the Vita users use an existant PSN account, how many are PSPlus, etc.

The only two 3D games that have impressed me on Vita have be NGS+ and Dynasty warriors. Everything else is on a sliding scale of Mediocre to horrible.

For the life of me I dont understand the hate for indie titles on the Vita. They seem to be the only games that Actually look good on the hardware instead of paired down experiences.

If Nintendo had a proper account system and lowered prices, I probably would have a 3DS (and a NDS) by now.

Hmmm... I don't know what your expectations are but if you think Uncharted/Wipeout look rough then I am not sure there is anything I can do for you.

Well at least you have found the games you like and want to play so everyone is happy. Nobody is hating on indie games on Vita but I think people were sold on the potential of a 3D capable handheld that can do so much more (which it can).

Damn, wish this was true. :( I wonder if this is the GOTY edition though? Would make sense imo. If this includes most/all of the DLC, it's a buy. Just finished getting the Plat on PS3 lol. :D

Nothing. Having games like this on the move is amazing, and exactly what Vita should have been offering since launch (along with the other content obviously).

And the fact that they still haven't shown us anything yet despite being only 2 months away is hella suspicious.

My expectations couldn't be any lower.

Smart As was decent enough as was Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery, they were both running on the Unreal engine, just depends how people go about using it really.

Nothing yet but since we know sony fronted some cash to get this on the vita, I am betting that the DLC will be crossbuy. Much like we saw with SFxT and UMVC3. Makes the most sense to do it that way personally.
