Well I couldn't take it anymore. I tried to get into P3P, SMT Nocturne and Demon's Souls. They're all great but I just couldn't handle being Persona 4less anymore. I started my New Game + in Very Hard (Normal on my initial playthrough) and I'm back in Inaba. I'm going to 100% this beast of a game or get bored trying. So damn good. I was thinking of watching the anime but the game is where it's at!

I was interested in learning more about the first two victims, I felt kind of cheated you never really got to see what made them tick. So I extrapolated a bit from the little you actually see of Saki, and I figured her Shadow might have had something to do with her feeling like a betrayer--working for the very company that is driving her parents out of business, pretending to like someone to get ahead, etc. I don't know, I might be completely off the mark, and the symbolism is a little arcane, but I had fun. I think I'll try to do one for all of the characters maybe. Yamano should be pretty easy I think.
Shadow Yukiko has the best animations.

i may be the minority in this but does anyone else think that fusion plays a bigger role in p4 compared to p3? like in p4 I'm fusing constantly while in p3 i only did once in a while and not to mention you actually get to see the result persona before hand in p4. makes me respect demon fusion more plus I kinda want to collect them all

hell nah, in p3 I constantly fused, in p4 I fused black frost and it broke the game. Never had to fuse again after acquiring that persona.
I propose that June be reserved for JunpeiGAF, then.

Nope. P4 is so much easier than P3. Especially P4G. Yep. As soon as I formed Black Frost to beat Matsuo after help from here, looking at guides and GiantBomb, that was it. My main guy for the rest of the game.

I am eating crow here. I was one of the guys who was saddened at the loss of the "rewarding" feeling you would get from a perfect demon/persona with the old system, but after trying an hour a few days ago to get a Titania with certain skills and failing, fuck the old system. I don't think the new being able to just pick everything is a great replacement though, they need to think of a more challenging and rewarding system.

Yep. The randomness of the system in P3 is silly and just makes you spend unnecessary time to get the same results. The new system is way too easy to get OP Personas with. There needs to be more balance to the way skills pass down and whatnot in P5 definitely.
What if they did something like SMTIV's app system where it was initially random but as the game went on you could unlock the ability to pick more and more skills till you can pick everything?
Well, certainly takes the fun out of the adventure if you use a walkthrough for most of them. The games aren't unfair, after all.
Mind you, I may be biased. I grew up playing the Dark Savant Wizardry trilogy after all.
I hate shackling myself to a walkthrough, but sometimes them old JRPGs could be so vague about what to do next that I felt the need to look that stuff up.
They never moved past that whole "early 2000s Sugar Ray bleached hair" look.
So I'm sure every single person who has ever replayed P4 has asked this, but
why does Adachi barf? Is he faking it to cast away suspicion, or is he legit shocked that shoving Yamano into the TV killed her?
Also when can I trade in this 3rd rate New Game Izanagi for my totally radical Izanagi from last play through?
I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you might be literally crazy. I've been playing P3P recently and I literally spent half an hour trying to get a not awful moveset onto one of my fusions. My standards weren't even high, I just wanted Resist Ice to stop sticking to something that could already absorb it. It drove me nuts.
P4G's freedom to pick whatever wasn't great in terms of balance, especially since you'd inevitably wind up with some fairly homogenized movesets (say hello to Spell Master on everything) but the lottery that P3 and 4 forced you into was awful.
Which direction would you want to push it? I'm more up with tumblr artists. Personally, retrodynamics would be a good ask...

Come to think of it, I can actually definitely see Margaret and Marie getting plastered while Igor is out. Marie's poetry is probably all written during such sessions, and Margaret probably finds it hilarious and meaningful at the time.

Why not make the month of June, Junpei and Jun month. Would be interesting to see some Junpei and Jun art. Heck even together.

it wasn't an act. He had no idea that doing that would kill her, and that was him coming to grips with that fact. He says as much when you finally confront him, of course he's being an ass about it. But Yu, Chie, and Yukiko saw the real reaction to her death, and am kind of shocked none of them call him on it. Adachi's explanations of his actions have several holes in them like, which is just caused by him trying to rationalize them, so of course there would be. I think the Adachi you see when you defeat Ameno-sagiri is probably the closest to the real Adachi. He's just a guy who didn't want to really connect with anyone, got a taste of power, and got corrupted by it. Hell, his desire for power is why he joined the police force in the first place.

It could be genuine. He never actually kills his victims, he just stuffs them inside the TV. That could have been the first time he actually saw a dead body.
