I agree that it'll be a major contender, I just think it's more likely to end up where Titan did this year: 4 or 5 instead of 1. But it's really early to be making predictions.
I'll agree there; Love Lab had hilarious comedy, memorable characters (Huggy <3), and was well-structured.
I can't provide an official source because it hasn't been announced, but yeah that's how it's going to be released. There'll be a break after the first 13.

Two blondes, a miko and a Mako. After Mako got her plans sabotaged by Kaori's lack of skill back in the first series, having her be the one to turn the tables on Aislinn was a nice bit of karma. Her sketchboard imagination power was also nifty. How often does New Zealand show up in fiction anyway? I may not know much about mahjong, but the characters' reactions tell the whole story.

I'm crossing my fingers here for it to be a fraction as good as the first series was. They're bringing back the director for Season 1 / Aku no Hana, right?
The thought of Jojo coming back and potentially charting for a third year in the row is sort of insane to me. The series has legs like no other. Wasn't a personal fan of what I read of part 3 in the manga though, Jotaro is no where near as interesting a protagonist as Joseph was.
Betting on Kill la Kill charting next year too, especially if the second half of the series delivers.

After catching up with the manga, I don't see that happening for at least another 4 months or so.
Seriously, the chimera ant arc is looooong. I think the anime covers, like 3 chapters an episode?
Its certainly will finish this year though.
So I got like two episodes or so into Love Lab and I'm interested in starting it back up but I vaguely remember there were concerns that a future episode was kind of racist towards black people or something. I know Japan is kind of ignorant/sheltered about these things unfortunately

Yes, Nagahama and just about all of the other key staff from the original Mushishi are returning. If you want to get a taste of the second season, make sure you watch the new special that came out at the beginning of this year. I'd say it lives up to its pedigree.

There's a scene where one of the characters is in blackface as a "soul singer" for a few seconds. Insensitive? Sure, but I'm not sure that it was actively mean-spirited if that's what concerns you. It happens and ends in an instant.

So I started watching this show about a month ago, then stopped for a little while and just now got back to it. I like the show well enough, it feels like Homer's Odyssey or The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in that it's more about world building, in a world where nothing is consistent. It's always introducing something new, but due to that, it feels like there's no overarching plot, no direction. Because of this, it feels like a show to put on the back burner, something to watch when there's nothing else I want to watch.
As for this episode, it does flesh out Kino's character a bit, and I'm looking forward to seeing the resolution next episode.

Todays episode was hilarious best one yet. Uzawa-kun needs more screentime as that was so good seeing him there and interaction and such to finally make Seki do something interesting after the previous three episodes boring nature.
