Crisis Core with the same treatment as FF Type Zero.
Valkyrie Profile PS1
Valkyrie Profile 2 same as Shadow of the Colossus
Castlevania SOTN - HD Sprites :D
GoW 1 and 2 same as SoTC :D

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
Someone give Bluepoint Silent Hill to Remaster from the ground up.
And while they're at it Remaster Silent Hill 2/3/4 properly.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

This is the best answer I've seen yet. Crisis Core needs a low-frills or no-frills port onto modern systems.

Haunting Ground
I like you.
It's kind of amazing infamous 1 and 2 never got a remaster collection given how many Sony have done.

Muramasa Rebirth Complete Edition for PS4 and Switch, hopefully it does happen after Dragon's Crown Pro, although they need to finish there actually new game they're making first.

Vanquish, since it's already on PC and would be easy, so why not?

Dragon Quest VIII Definitive Edition, HD PS2 version graphics and soundtrack, but with all the 3DS stuff.

Tekken 5 Definitive Edition. All content from the PS2, PSP, and PS3 versions finally all in one package.

No More Heroes 1 + 2 HD for Switch.
And you as well.

There are some games I'd kill to see them remastered for:

- Max Payne 1+2
- GTA: Vice City
- Need for Speed II: SE
- Streets of Rage

Bonus kill: Switch release

The Little Big Adventure games AKA Relentless : Twinsen's Adventure (IIRC was the title in Europe.)

Loved those games.

I'm against it when there is not also the option to play/use your old media on newer hardware like you can continue doing with other forms of physical/digital media. My Bluray player still plays my DVDs from 15+ years ago.

Failing to see how I'm being selfish...
I thought you meant that titles shouldn't be remastered/rereleased because you want your own collection to be more valuable. Maybe I misunderstood you.

Max Payne 3. The best TPS ever made.

Even if they just gave me the option to skip the cutscenes and that was it I’d still pay 60 all over again.

Eh, the game mechanics seemed pretty archaic to me when I tried playing this game again just a few weeks ago.

I thought it was still simple and easy enough to use. Any classic RPG fans, especially those who didn't like where Dragon Age went gameplay wise would enjoy it. You can see all the building blocks for Bioware's future games in it.

What a list! YES PLEASE! For all 5!!!

need for speed underground, the last great NFS game

And also yes! So many found memories of that game. What a time it was to be alive. Underglow, sound systems, Euro tail lights. When fast and the furious was also awesome!

God Hand

The real question however is "how does God Hand's camera and massive quantity of wall clipping pass QC in 2018?"

I'm surprised that Metal Gear Rising hasn't been re-released with all DLCs for current gen. The gameplay and soundtrack were amazing.

I think Super Mario 64 would've been great on the 3DS.

Analog controls + all the content from the DS release would've made for a proper definitive release.

This one just popped into my head this morning whilst in work. It was released on the PS2 and named "Ghost Hunter". Freaked me out back then with its creepy atmosphere and scary sounds. The first level had you explore an abandoned school where a professor had murdered ten students. I'd love to see that game remastered with today's technology, especially the lighting, which was already really good back then as well.

Pretty much any PS1 game, really. Going back to play some of them, as I have over the years, it's striking how poorly a lot of the graphics feel compared to 2D games of a few years before. While I certainly didn't feel like it at the time and I still love the game, but Final Fantasy VII feels like it's more rudimentary than the 2D sprites of Final Fantasy VI now to me. Obviously Final Fantasy VII is getting a remaster, but I remain ambivalent due to the engine changes.

Witcher 1&2 could really use remaster to bring them to console audiences (x360 port of TW sold like 500k copies)
Valkyria Chronicles 2&3 should get another chance on Switch since being on already dead by that time PSP killed their chances in west.
My personal obsession - Xenosaga trilogy - we only got part 2 in Europe and in PS2 era region locking was still a thing.
Heavenly Sword remaster for PS4 would also be awesome :)

I have decided on another. The Saboteur (I played on PS3). That game was amazing but suffered frame rate issues, while the occupied / non occupied graphics style would only benefit from a remaster.

Annihilation got me replaying resistance 3 yesterday. That game need a remaster badly, it is still very good. Infamous 1&2 also deserve a remaster.

I would also like to nominate 'Mercenaries 2: World in Flames', purely for selfish reasons. I missed it first time around and picked it up last year, after seeing a lot of praise for it.

It didn't go well for me. That game does not look good these days.

I think the 5th gen should be mined for this, the PS1 library particularly. A lot of those games - with the controls fixed and an update to even just PS2-level graphics - would be great to revisit. Colony Wars, Future Cop LAPD, G-Police, Alundra, Vagrant Story - you have a lot of great stuff.

The lack of dead space makes me sad:(

Dead Space One was my first survival horror game on the PS3 and boy, did I jump. Still have to finish the third install tho...

Demon's Souls
Mass Effect Trilogy
Any of the Persona series
Silent Hill 2/3/4 (why not all of them?)

And with Ni no Kuni II coming up next month, would it be too much to ask for a remaster of the first? I just want to play it again on my PS4...
