Netflix |OT| Where Binge Watching is Encouraged

People who have Netflix ultra with a 4k tv what do you think of the quality?

We binge watched the end of the f ** king world on a sony XE9003, which is a very good series. I dont know if it was in HDR. I would say picture wise it is just on par with blurays. We also saw a few episodes of stranger things 2 on this TV. Again the sharpness was on par with 1080p blurays but the HDR is really nice which sets it apart from it.

Are there any reference quality HDR/4K movies/series on netflix?

It looks pretty enough, but I don't always notice it. Honestly, it does not matter too much to me. I only have a 4K TV because the TV I bought happened to support 4K. I'm perfectly fine with 1080i/p.

I have a LG B7 OLED - Netflix looks quite good. There are a number of HDR shows on it, and honestly, a good 4K HDR stream looks better for the most part than a regular 1080p blu-ray. Some shows blow the HDR though. Overall though streaming quality via the TV's player and the Apple TV 4K are good, however calibration and understanding PQ settings helps quite a bit. I saw that the Apple TV had whacky defaults for HDR (it tries to play non-HDR content on a HDR mode with some tone mapping, and that looks horrible). Amazon UHD / 4K stuff looks just as good. Reference quality for the content I have access to is still a 4K UHD Blu-ray.

Mute has gone/is going up on Netflix today.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1464763/

"Berlin. Forty years from today. A roiling city of immigrants, where East crashes against West in a science-fiction Casablanca. Leo Beiler (Skarsgard), a mute bartender has one reason and one reason only for living here, and she's disappeared. But when Leo's search takes him deeper into the city's underbelly, an odd pair of American surgeons (led by Rudd) seem to be the only recurring clue, and Leo can't tell if they can help, or who he should fear most."

I know this is a forum for Netflix streaming, so sorry about a bit off topic, but for the DVD page, does anybody get "The Netflix DVDs website is temporarily unavailable."? It has been showing up for me for about a week now.

Anyone else not feeling the new Arrested Development season?
The show has always been a bit hit or miss to me but I'm 4 episodes into the new seasons and I can't say I've found a single one of them to be funny.

Just overall boring jokes and weird decisions. The new running joke for both GOB and George is that they question their sexuality? Really? Wasn't that already a frequent joke with Tobias? Did we really need 2 other characters doing the same?
