Maintenance is happening now.

Man, I was eager to play all day. Bah!

EDIT: Only 15 minutes? Massive, you're a God among developers.

that space place was just amazing ... all those rockets , moon landers, space shuttle and other planes and space stuff, just so much details all over place and so good place to cover shooting , but when i shot all them i just walked there and looked at all those space things... just wow like real virtual museum..

So now that I can actually use turret:

I’m pretty underwhelmed with the demo specialist artillary turret. Four shots and a 4 minute cooldown. The damage and AoE radius isn’t that significant either. Maybe it’s because I was running a WT3 mission on hard but it wasn’t making much of a dent, considering the limited ammo and long cooldown.

Course I’m not fully geared for skill power or modded for turret damage yet so maybe that’s a factor?

I have this song in my head all the time lol

Lol that was happening to me too. I tried to describe the song earlier in the thread...
Loving it. Hearing that heavy guitar riff in my head all day. *Washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc* = ♫ ♫ Dun dun, dutut dun dun. Dun dun dutut dun dun ♫ ♫
Hahahaha.

Thank goodness the skills glitch is gone! 3 times the turrets worked correctly. You know what that means...

Just did a control point and heavy fog rolled in during the battle and there was horrible visibility. Even the enemies couldn't see. An Outcast patrol came walking out of nowhere like specters while I was barely staying alive and I had to run away behind a tree where I had to face the control point boss. Killed him and fog began to clear. The dynamic flow of the gameplay was just amazing. :messenger_heart:

I've had dust storms and torrential downpours with thunder storms, too. Feels special to fight in those conditions. Shitty and special. lol. I'll upload some clips a little later.

So happy to have skills back. It keeps that barely stayin' alive while sticking and moving flow to the game that you lose when you're hunkered down and running for your life all the time.
*Edit* Added fog vid...

...and rain storm vid(it's cool how the rain slows down and the wind changes over time in this vid)...

...dust storm vid...

(sorry part of the fog vid is missing and the sound on rain vid takes a sec to kick in)

Don't forget to post the pics of our adventure. Lol

Why noone says anything about one of the best soundtrack in the recent years, I mean it is outstanding but a little bit too low volume compared to everything else. Btw the Fix for the skill completely made on server side has been outstanding, it means 2 things:

Cheater are going to have a bad life cause many things are server side.

Massive are outstanding as developers.

Looks like the GAF PC Clan got 4 weekly projects done, looking forward to collecting the reward cache tonight/tomorrow.

Got up to 400 gear score after making it to WT4 just now. Tomorrow will keep the gear grind going. With the skills glitch addressed I have no issues with the game. 50 hours played so far and no end in sight

Got the 4 masks from the elites that spawn at the Christmas tree after you pull the lever in the cafe (In the East Mall District, to the right of the contaminated building up north).

Damn, the moment I play alone I get crashing to the desktop. I have never crashed while being in a group. This is so annoying.

The game is absurdly good. I'm genuinely amazed.

Very interested to see how this reviews. Ubisoft are always unfairly criticised. This game looks wonderful, plays fantastically, has an astonishing amount of content and runs counter to every flawed Gaas release of recent times.

They should be heavily praised. I doubt they will be though.

Is it worth grinding world tiers when i already have enough GS to move on to the next?
I'm kind of lost right now. I'm in world tier 1, GS 300.

Isn't 300 the max for WT1?

As for when to move up, I think it depends on how you play.

If you matchmake or play in a full squad, buy the vendor gear (check special vendor too) right away and then hit the invaded missions and stronghold.

If you solo or duo, then it can worth farming the map a bit for the advantage.

I feel dumb again, but what is the special vendor?

As for the mask thing, so you gotta farm the fight with four hunters to get all the masks, right?

The fight with the four hunters is just for four masks.

There are like 10-12, but all of the other fights are easier since it's just one.

The special vendor is the vendor that shows up when you talk to Snitch.

Snitch is a NPC that shows up in random locations and gives you Deck of 52 bounties.

These look amazing. I want at least one.

Some of my gear is a bit above 300.
I once found an npc on a rooftop. He gave me a bounty. Was that snitch? And where does this special vendor show up?

I keep feeling like I’ve done something wrong. I’m in WT4 and have never heard of Snitch of this mask thing

Well, they are kind of hidden. There are hints about how to spawn the hunters. But without a guide it's hard to figure it out on your own.

Snitch was in the betas as well, but I didn't know about the masks until I saw it on Twitch.

As for the special vendor, once you talk to Snitch, there will be an icon on your map. Think it looks like a wheelbarrow.

So there’s no way to find Snitch on your own? Just gotta wait till he shows up?

I wonder how many other things I’ve missed that are similar to this mask thing.

All stuff like this hopefully gets posted in here for fools like me

I think there are some guides online that show you all of the places Snitch shows up.

It's not like Xur, though, since Snitch will appear differently for your game world than mine.

I imagine we'll eventually memorize all the spots and it'll get easy.

Is there a guide how to move up in WT? I am 30 now, I do the three Strongholds and there are gear requirements for each WT. That is what I know so far.

The masks are awesome, they act as alittle of orror story inside the caos of the city. Most of the time you have to do some strange things to activate the fight.

As far as I know only 8 of them have been found, I found another riddle but couldn't get it done (I found a lot of lantern that I can turn off but it must have an order... or I'm missing some of them).

When you are on a spot of a mask you can clearly hear scretching sound and out of this worlds sounds, and it is kinda creepy (like the place with all the glass coming down from the roof and all the mannequins looking to you)

I'm in the endgame now, well if you thought the game was hard till now,the joke's on you,the real game just started, and damn they flank you like crazy, the weapons I had when I finished the main mission were strong for that part, now I can barely survive with them, lol

I’m kind of embarrassed that I completely missed Snitch and these masks/puzzles/riddles in my 60+ hours played

I’ll just wait for a guide or something

Edit

If anyone on PC wants to group up and grind these masks or whatever let me
Know

I just unlocked Demolitionist and took the upgrade that lets the turret shoot grenades but it's still the normal bullet turret. How do you activate that?

Edit: oh ok it's a separate new turret now... description is a bit weird. Totally underwhelming too. Same with the Sharpshooter drone, doesn't seem like it's worth removing a different skill for that one.

Really disappointed in artillary turret. I even modded it for extra mortars and I still prefer flamethrower or assault turret

So, my clan XP is still bugged. :messenger_pouting:

The one hunter that runs like a jackrabbit when you put them in your crosshairs is proving to be elusive! I spent most of my free time today chasing that !@#$.

There are several guides on YT now. Some of these seemed tough to figure out.

They are tough to just grind out because you have to wait for night and get that particular spot set up.

But if you get one set up and need a hand, I'll help when I'm around.

Anyone using the Clutch talent on their gloves? It does not work for me at all. Is this a known bug? I checked the known issues thread on the TD2 forums and didn't see anything about talent bugs.

So I have to admit that I am a bit lost now that I am level 30. They don't explain anything to you, probably because they assume you played the first game. Even the world tier stuff I had to google. Is there a proper guide what to do at 30? I have my specializations unlocked but no idea what gives me specialization points, I just noticed that bounties seem to give you around 3.
The control points are now connected to some events, do I take out the control point first and then the events that are connected or the other way around?
This is all a bit overwhelming for a new player and I haven't even touched DZ yet.... and the crafting station etc. etc. Recalibration, do I need to bother with this at WT1 or nah? Do I keep the items that (seemingly have good talents because I have no idea what is good or not) or do I salvage/sell that stuff at this early stage?

Invasion missions give you more specialization points,I did one but with other 3 players ,and at the end the enemies kept coming and I was wondering how hard this can be alone, but I got 8 specialization points doing that mission. With the gear look for what you want to focus more,on skills that you have or on weapons damage, for ex I choose the sharpshooter and I'm trying to find gear that give me more critical hits and damage ,damage against elites, things like that,I mean most of the gear are part of some sets, and having 2 or 3 of the same kind unlocks some extra attributes, its like DIablo 3 if you played it
