PSU feature.

Starting on Monday, PSU will be releasing new details and media for 2 Days 2 Vegas, a highly anticipated title for the PlayStation 3 and PC. Combining large full scale cities, realistic AI simulation, and life-like visuals, 2 Days 2 Vegas should be a top competitor for the best sandbox action/adventure.

So for those of you who are interested, we will begin our main feature on Monday starting with all new screenshots of 2 Days 2 Vegas. Then on Tuesday we will reveal two new tech demos as well as the first gameplay footage of the game in motion. Stay Tuned!

Nice, almost forgot about it since we didn't get any info on it for loooong time. But now my high hopes have returned.

Bring in gameplay!

I liked it better when it was vaporware ;)

Wait, I forgot what game this was. Its the one with the old CG video showing a shootout at a diner in the middle of the desert right?

Wow...

Anyway, I'm quite curious how it ends up. The bullshots were amazing, lets see how the real deal is.

"Blu-ray solves a lot of their problems". Since 2D2V is such an epic title, he said that to fit the game onto a simple DVD, they would either need to cut out chunks of the game or release the title on multiple discs.

nice

- The title is expected to release Christmas 2008

COOL!

Awesome. Wasn't this game supposed to be like GTA but across a scaled-down USA. Also isn't this for 360?

Pretty sure its been a PS3 title since it was announced.

Nah that was 8 Days. I've never heard of this one tbh.

It's coming out for PC as well? I thought this was a Sony developed game?
Will be interesting to see how it looks now, the video they showed at E3 was amazing although probably CG.

Edit: I'm a dumbass (was actually thinking of 8 days)

Well if its PS3 only, I'm getting a PS3. Simple as that. But, I honestly thought it was for 360 as well. Maybe Sony is the mystery publisher.

Well its for the PC as well, so its not really exclusive.

PC gaming is dead to me. If its not on 360, its automatically a PS3 exclusive. For me, PC's are for work and internet, not games. That said, I was sure I heard it was a 360 game, maybe its because this is being done by PSU...

Yeah that's why I'm not getting overly excited.

That's a pretty impressive track record

/sarcasm

-_-

I remember the early screenshots of 2 Days to Vegas from back in 2005. The game looked godlike back then. But I have very little faith in Steel Monkeys.

This was supposed to be a 360 launch title, wasn't it?

anyways, look at the steel monkeys website, compare target renders to finaly gameplay screens. its pretty sad. i have 0 faith in that company.

You don't need a track record to make a good game. You need money and talent. Blizzard was nothing before Warcraft, Valve was nothing before Half-Life.

It helps if your previous games had at least a glimmer of hope. Especially when you make claims about having multiple cities and various high end features.

Again we don't know a whole lot, but from what I've been lead to beleive this game is like GTA but its not in one city its in multiple fully realized ones seperated by actual playable land, in short it is a sandbox title stretched out across the US, not just one city. If it lives up to that, then it will be amazing.

I don't think developer here in Belarus have people to do something really good. Simply from point of good producers/game designers and working ethics. It will take much more time to get close to western standards.

Ppl call eastern developer syndrome.
