Mii integration is so great. I really hope that more and more games use it. To date I think Mario Kart is the showcase example of how to effectively integrate Miis.

As a side note, for 2009 I'm merely keeping my eye open for a lot of the announced titles. Nothing of it, to me, is worth getting excited over just yet. That said, I will gladly admit that Wii Sports Resort is probably a day 1 purchase, and I usually never use the "day 1" term. The sword fighting with Wii MotionPlus alone is enough of a reason to buy.

Well, that and I'm one of the folks who greatly enjoyed the original Wii Sports.

No, because, in PS3s case, the software was supposed to lead to great hardware sales. That's why people laugh at "year of PS3". If you look at the quality of the released titles, they were actually quite good.

An old tps. Its free on Gametap right now and I've been playing it in between other gaming sessions. It really does have some cool ideas and overall pretty solid gameplay (cover system works very well). Just gets a bit repetitive and the AI is absolutely horrible.

Honestly it just makes me angry that no developer has made a tps on the Wii to date. Something like this game made for the Wii and its controls would be phenomenal. The cover system and aiming would work so well. Might be true for this game but at its core it is just an average game.

Man can dream, but I doubt it. The Wii ports of the Guitar Hero are pretty damn assy in the visual department. That shot alone looks better than anything GH3 and World Tour do.

Lars looking like a knob is probably the only thing that will make faithful transition.

Kororinpa is a better game, IMO. It's use 100% of the tilt sensor of Wiimote. If you rotate 90 degree the Wiimote, the scenario will rotate in 90 degree too. The possibility of rotation of the Kororimpa would be impossible in another control.

This year I decide to make some good changes in this topic, to start with a new layout and others new ideas that I will implement later.

But I have a problem: This thread research to his limit and the first topic only support 3 more games. For that reason, I will start a new thread with 3 posts reserved in the first page for the future updates and things I like to implement. Everything to make that the better thread a Wii owner can see.
