No one is blaming Lebron for the loss. Wade deserves blame for that moreso, no doubt. Lebron carried them in the 4th and made it a game.

That said, Lebron had 3 more seconds to go to the hoop with no one defending the lane and deferred to a guy who can't shoot to take a long shot. It just shows how afraid of missing he's become.

He should have put his head down and gone to the hole.
Pretty much. My initial reaction was pretty much OMG FAIL SO HARD but it really wasn't that terrible. Dude still should have driven to the hole, no doubt

*sees LeBron update on Twitter*

Oh boy.

Not shooting after a hot 4th is bad enough. Passing to Haslem tops it off. Thats like Kobe passing it to Artest for a 20 footer. Id rip him if he did that like im ripping lebron for this.

Good thing i dont have to worry about that with Mamba. I rather die with him shooting a contested jumper than giving it to anyone else for an open jumper minus Fisher

You know what would be awesome? If when LBJ is inevitably asked to explain the decision to pass (since the narrative will be about him losing the game), he takes care to reference Wade's poor decisions prior.

Man, if he threw Wade under the bus I think I'd pitch a tent.

ayo shaqs book is truth

half of it is about how his dad beat him

the other half is about how great a human being he is

lovin it

I really don't get it.

Lebron already took a monster CLUTCH shot with 27 seconds left that was absolutely absurd.

Somehow people forgot about that...

Give me a break guys. There is no way in hell Lebron had anything to do with losing this game.

Oh, so since you made amazing shots, you get to take the final possession off?

What kind of logic is this?

Uh...Rudy Gay took the last shot tonight.

Did you see Durant last night? Played a monster 4th (had 18) and didn't have to defer.

What kind of logic is this? Sane logic. You sound like a fucking idiot right now.

Haslem was literally wide open on a shot he's made millions of dollars on. Lebron was doubled with 3 seconds on the clock.

Give it up.

It may seem unreasonable, but this is the standard you must live up to when you or the media starts comparing you to Jordan.

The standard of being so self-obsessed that you put looking good to nbagaffers over winning a game?

He's compared to Jordan, not Kobe.

You drive to the hoop, you don't pass it to the corpse of haslem

I thought vets like Odom couldn't get sent to the D league? Or did they change that for the new cba?

They can if the allow it. Odom's agent release a statement saying Odom asked to go to the D-League for a game and Mavs allowed it.

he still made the wrong play. he had enough time to get a better shot off at the rim. Look at the image posted.

not to mention, the game means nothing. What matters is the team's mentality come playoff time, and this type of ending hurts. Better for Lebron to drive and miss.

ayo the problem with shtting on lebron in the regular season right

you want to have it both ways

when he does gud, regular season dont matter, when something not so gud happens OMG HE SUCKS IN THE CLUTCH

fact not even legit unclutch mental cases give a shit about messing up in the regular season

literally i could go out there and take that open shot and no one would be mad that we lost to the utah jazz because it is literally meaningless

of course id totally hit that shot but uno

Just amazing how different tomorrow's story lines about this game could have been if the Heat had won. Everyone would be praising LeBron for not deferring, not backing down, and draining that off balance shot with 20 seconds left. Then he had to go and make the one completely opposite play that erases that shot and his insane 4th qtr performance from history and continues all the "he's afraid to make the crucial shot" talk.

Sucks how one bad play can outweigh all the amazing others. I really feel bad for him.

I'm done here. You must take after your moron head coach.

Or beat CJ Miles off the dribble like he had been doing all night.

I called LeBron deferring before the ball was even inbounded--check my posts.

Dude's kryptonite is pressure moments.

Always has been.

It was changed, veterans have to agree to it.

Another change will be starting next season there won't be any limit to sending players back and forth between the leagues. Currently a player can only go and come back to the NBA three times.

I've always downplayed the notion of playing differently when the game is on the line. A team should be seeking the highest percentage shot available at any given time.

In this case, I have no problem with Lebron making the intelligent basketball play. Had the shot fallen, it'd be considered a great play and a fantastic pass. But, as it often seems to for Lebron, luck didn't go his way, and he's ridiculed, despite a remarkable fourth quarter and clutch final minute.

Hatas gonna hate. Wade really fucked up with his shitty defense and missed free throw; he deserves the blame for this one.
