I bash Al Jefferson a lot but he's on pace for the 4th lowest turnover rate in NBA history this year...That's pretty insane.

If the Lakers missed the playoffs and Kobe retired they might have a 1% chance on paper of getting the #1 pick but in reality they would have a 100% chance of getting it.
But since the pick would be going to Minnesota in this hypothetical, yeah you're right.

I actually did the math on that Chicago pick and its not all that implausible. There's about a 20% chance of someone in chicago's position of the lottery to win it in a 20 year period (i.e. 20 separate drafts conducted).
I know the lottery percentages often change but its not actually as crazy as it seems.
