Noob question but I thought I would ask before getting yelled at. If I'm downsampling during gaming and take pictures, should I be converting the picture resolution in a image editor to my original screen resolution or something? I've just been uploading them from my fraps folder to minus.

The common method is the resize to something between 1600 width and 1920 width and if you want to share the full sized image then just link to it. It helps save bandwidth in an already draining thread.
Edit: Don't wanna waste top post, so I'll post something from the cutting room floor. I like the idea on the angle but I'm not sure how well I executed on it. I really, really hate the glow in this area. I found that it's somewhat related to depth of field and blur.
