fucking dk jr is frustrating as helllllllll

I'd only played the G&W versions. This is frustrating.

Switch to easy mode Yoshi for a relaxing break. Even on higher speeds, I always found Yoshi pretty easy. Although I'd prefer if they had Yoshi's Cookie.

Nintendo just shot themselves in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about Nintendo fans (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is for other companies where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw over Nintendo fans, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is more free games.

What this means is that the Nintendo fan after hearing about the price drop expected more than 10 free games and will not purchase any future Nintendo handheld or games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Nintendo has alienated an entire group of customers

Nintendo, publicly apologize and give us more than 10 free NES games for the 3DS or you can kiss your business goodbye.

you have enlightend me, I am a Nintendo "fan" and this pain I am feeling isn't trapped wind but shame and lack of honour, every night I go to sleep and see Iwata and Miyamoto laughing at me as Mario stomps on my head.....what have you done to me NINTENDO you are meant to fill my soul with LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!?!!?!?

pray tell how does one become and "expert" at such things? is it the patcher method of say enough crazy shit and soon you will get something right, or is it a more subtle art??
**as I write this I am making the leo squinting face** this puzzles me somewhat...

phh fuck it I can't carry on for much longer just release the games in the MOFO'ing EU Nintendo I know you haunts these boards I am callign you out do it now!! :P

Gonna try Wrecking crew first.
So what's the difference between mode A and B in DKjr? Not being able to fall down anything more than jump height is so bullshit though.

Alright I'm in the process of downloading the games now. It's really a pain in the ass to keep scrolling thru the menu options to download each title tho.

Great. Left my 3DS in someone's car. Won't be able to download until around 9 tonight.

FML. Could have been hitting up some Zelda between classes.

Going off topic but while I have a bunch of 3DS users in an active thread....

Anyone know if there's a trick to making your 3DS pick up spotpasses?

I just stood by 2 demo units in Bestbuy. Both of them picked up my Mii in their plaza but my 3DS didn't pick up anything. Any little things to try to make the spotpass pick up?

Didn't take long at all to get them all downloaded. They look great on the 3ds screen too. I don't see them as eighty dollars. I see them as free.

All the fun I had with my 3ds prior to the release date was worth something to me.

Going to try Zelda NES. I've played Zelda 2 before, but never the first one for some reason.

The Golf game is pretty fun, too. The only other golf game I ever really liked was Mario Golf on GBC.

I'm glad an expert has finally arrived.

cannot wait to play 23 year old games on my not even half year old system :-)

Cannot wait to listen to 23 year old music on my new iPod. Cannot wait to watch 23 year old movies on my big dumb new TV. Cannot wait to eat spaghetti tonight with my brand new fork. How old is spaghetti now? Borrrring!

Zelda NES is hard to get into after a decade and a half of games that actually give you direction.

Do you mean for retail games or stuff for Find Mii and Puzzle Swap?

For retail games you have to activate it from the games option themselves, and the other guy has to have the game as well (not on, just the data). I'd guess it's the same as with the the Mii games.

Boy they really make you jump through hoops to download each of those NES games

SETTINGS->YOUR DOWNLOADS-DOWNLOAD them one by one and it kicks you out of that download section when you download each one...

Back in ye good ole days we didn't have stuff like dem fancy tutorials or freedom of movement or low difficulty handholding or "save and restart anywhere" shenanigans. We were thrown out in the cold unknown with nothing but the tunics on our back and a dinky wooden sword given to us by some creepy old man while walking 15 miles barefoot in the snow to reach every dungeon and dog gonnit we liked it!

Yeah, that was fucking tedious.

LoZ (original one) is buggy as hell. The game gets stuck when I try to go to the next screen.

True.

Amazing, a chance to download old NES games. Nintendo is really turning over a new leaf. This is worth the extra $80. For crying out loud, I'd have paid one HUNDRED and 80 dollars for the chance to play Ice Climber.

Thank you, Nintendo!

I'm just quoting this because it looks like the cool thing to do.

I can't wait! I seriously want to get home and start the DL's. Do they take long? I assume they're small as hell so it shouldn't be more than 15 minutes for the lot.

Yes, you can.

Balloon fight is where it's at though. I'm not even disappointed by nintendo as I knew what it meant to be an early adopter when originally buying the system. These free retro games are quite the bonus.

Ok finally got the downloads...man downloading Metroid and the first Zelda sent a chill down my spine : P such memories haha...

Where are the 10 other games ?
