But hey to each his own, I don't see what Sony Bend, PD, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch amongst others have produced quality wise this gen that an Obsidian or Ninja Theory haven't matched or surpassed already with previous games.

The time for the presentation of PS5 (and of this presentation video already announced) MUST be June.
(can't be July and doesn't have to be August or September)
Otherwise, Sony can safely send the presentation video of PS5 online even IMMEDIATELY ONLINE ON YOUTUBE, from a link posted on Twitter and end of story.
(so in the end they still manage to get 100% the same marketing and visual)
But the point is that Sony cannot take the luxury of waiting in silence indefinitely, regarding the presentation of PS5 that she has announced and postponed.

There's no reason for Sony to hold off on the reveal of what the PS5 looks like, since MS has already revealed their XSX, unless Sony hasn't finalized the design yet to make it work with that new, multi-layer, multi-facet cooling system!

You’re deluded. I know why you can’t see it, it’s because you’re looking at the world through green tinted lenses. Xbox do have top tier developers - Turn 10, 343, Coalition, maybe Playground. Obsidian and Ninja Theory just aren’t in that league even though there’s every reason to believe that they could be, one day.
What have exactly have Obsidian and Ninja Theory produced that’s so great?
Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is a visually impressive game that is boring as fuck, Bleeding Edge is garbage and a complete flop. Their track record is one of games with great production values that just don’t sell. This was also true in the PS3/360 gen with Heavenly Sword and Enslaved which flopped hard.
Obsidian have given us Outer Worlds, an enjoyable RPG, but modest budget and therefore comIng with a lot of limitations. And Pillars of Eternity, a really good Kickstarter game. It’s a perfect example of why they’re not a top tier developer but why you should be really hopeful that MS budget will turn them into one.
FWIW I think Obsidian will really deliver for MS as the next generation progresses whilst Ninja Theory will flatter to deceive.

Totally. Ninja Theory and Obsidian are both AA developers with potential to become top studios now they have Microsoft's resources behind them. But even then, Ninja Theory have never really shown that much in terms of talent.
Sucker Punch, Polyphony, Sony Japan, Media Molecule, Insomniac and Sucker Punch are clearly all a step above.
Naughty Dog, Guerrilla, and Santa Monica are in a completely different league. Hell, they're in a different league even compared to Microsoft's best studios. They're among the best in the industry.

Lol bro it ain't that serious really. I just disagree with your point of view on those two specific studio's and what is regarded as quality. Nothing to get mad about. I'm sure Days Gone had a bigger budget than Hellblade and The Outer Worlds combined yet those two games were critically acclaimed while Days Gone was rated average (70 Meta).
I'm okay to park it here as we obviously don't see things in the same light.

The console enters mass production in the first half of this month, so the design must be final since some weeks or months ago. They must show it in the first half of this month if don't want it to be leaked.

A lot of these 'leaks' seem to be from random people with no history/previous leaks that ended up being true.
I know we're all chomping at the bit for news but let's have some standards at least.
As for the reveal, I'd still bet on next week. US protests seem to have died down somewhat, all officers have been charged and MN has seemingly changed its rules with regard to the sort of violence police can commit and in what circumstances.
If there's such thing as a 'job well-done' I'd say this is it and Sony can go ahead with their reveal with a clean conscience. I can't see any more social points being scored from delaying beyond the end of next week. Plus, EA's event has been postponed so perhaps Sony will take that spot?

These leaks are of varying credibility, but if they are all true that is the entire show. You have your expectations way too high if you think they are going to show more than 7-8 major games.
By June we had the following games revealed for PS4 between PS Meeting and E3
- Killzone Shadowfall
- inFamous Second Son
- Drive Club
- Deep Down (Cancelled)
- The Order 1886
- Knack
- Destiny
- Kingdom Hearts 3
- Final Fantasy XV (technically a referral)

- The Witness
i can't remember if they debuted COD and FIFA as well at the PS Meeting or Sony E3 2013.
Perhaps Sony changed their minds and decided they want to only show 3 major games this time around but history has shown they reveal quote a few major games at their events.

I think that the PR positivity of the delay, if any, would be totally lost if they take much longer. Seen that other delays just took a week to reschedule, it would make evident that PS5 delay had nothing to do with what was happening in the US and people would start to think that sony, the PS5 or its games have problems.

People do seem to underestimate how important this event is for sony. If they receive any kind of negative publicity their launch and future sales could be damaged. I feel that they won’t announce a new date until they feel comfortable that they won’t receive criticism. I still doubt it will launch this year. We are looking at spring 2020 realistically, which might work better to allow consoles to be manufactured in sufficient quantities, because the ps5 will sell 20m plus in 6 months.
