Love that gaggle of Westwood games.

How the mighty have fallen. :(

They're almost all incredible games.

I played a lot of those in their heyday. /salute

Ugh... why isn't Monkey Island 2 video using the superior MT-32 music? The version they used sounds horrible.
I remember all those games ;( The 90s were the best gaming decade ever (thanks OP, i feel even older now...).
Nostalgia... right into my veins...

I'm really fond of those high-density bitmaps, the sort of full-screen "sprites" that make console owners drool. I think my favorites have to be X-Com, the Star Wars flight sims, and Warcraft. Pure '90s.
Nice list. Flashback and Blackthorne for damn sure.

I miss a lot of these. They had a unique charm about them.

Of course...to match the level of Disruptor (PS1 1996) is another story:
Pretty sure it's not Flashback, that's Another World, the one before.
Flashback itself has an amazing intro mind.
EDIT: Ignore me, for I am doofus.

Mr Nash

square pies = communism
My parents' computer was not great back in high school, so I mostly played these games at friends and family's places. Finally been able to experience a bunch of these since they came to GOG. I really like these games. The art style, music, worlds, it really was an amazing period in gaming and opened my eyes to a lot of new things outside of the console bubble that I was inhabiting at the time.

I remember emailing westwood in like 1999 or early 2000 asking for advice on how to get into the game industry. Australia's industry was like non existent back then other than one place called Quantum in Queensland where you could study. It was super expensive and I was broke. Needless to say I never got into the industry however Westwood did get back to me, gave me some great advice.

RIP Westwood.
