Looks tremendously flexible. You can swap in parts from other stick manufacturers, remap buttons, add macros, use it wirelessly or wired-ly.

$90, released October 20.

I’m hyped for this. I’ve always wanted a wireless stick with Sanwa parts. Pro gamers hate wireless so there have never been any options. I’m preordering ASAP.

Nice. I may pick one up for MAME.

Not crazy about the NES Advantage asthetics, but I can live with it.

Oh! I missed this:

Alongside that physical switcher is a second knob that lets you use the stick as a D-pad, left or right analog stick. In theory, that means you could play a 3D platformer or first-person shooter with this thing.

The first knob is Switch or PC ("X" for "XInput"), but the second knob is Left analog Stick, D-Pad, Right analog Stick. That's cool!

what I don't understand... why do these arcade sticks always only support a single system??? (not counting PC cuz everything using USB can work on PC eventually)

is there anything preventing them from making sticks that just work on every single system on the market?

there are adapters that can do it, so why the fuck not just make controllers that work on everything? I really don't get it.

ESPECIALLY when it comes to specialised stuff like fight sticks or wheels

I was pissed off there was no headset that had full wireless support for both audio and mic (mic being the main problem) on ps4 and Xbox. I hated having to buy two separate headsets. I emailed the company and they said for a headset to be licensed on Xbox they don’t allow it to also work on PlayStation. That’s why all universal wireless headsets work on both consoles for audio but when it comes to the mic you need a wire. I suspect it’s this same bullshit that makes it either impossible or financially unfeasible.

that makes no sense here tho, there are USB adapters that will let you use basically any controller on any console... and they can do it why not controller manufacturers?

wireless headsets are a completely different thing completely.

None is those adaptors are licensed though. Maybe that’s the issue.

Now this looks mighty tempting. Finally a stick for Smash Bros. Ultimate, perhaps?

and you are too stupid to understand my point it seems. I don't count PC because EVERYTHING WORKS ON PC if you're too dense to get what I'm saying then just don't reply and sit in a corner until you get it

why would customers care it the controller is licensed?

No, I completely understand the point; it's just a stupid one

You can not count PC all you want, that doesn't change facts

It supports both PC and Switch; just because you have some opinion that "Oh everything works on PC, so it doesn't count," doesn't change technical specifications

EDIT:
It doesn’t support Wii either. But you know damn well he meant ps4 and Xbox.
I'm not pointing at what devices he thinks it SHOULD support
I'm pointing at discreditting technical specifications because of some arbitrary opinion on a product.

You read what he wrote in the most literal sense and not the meaning behind it. He just wants ps4 and Xbox support. You’re making things complicated. If you can’t search for the meaning behind what people say then I really hope you don’t try to converse with anyone whose native tongue isn’t English.

Anyway this has gone too far off course. Get a Titan Two. It’s the single best gaming purchase I’ve made in years. It lets you use literally any peripheral on any console. And if it isn’t compatible the developer will add it for you, you just have to supply the hardware ID. AMAZING.

I regularly do that for my job, but that's besides the point

We're doing this in text; where I understand where you're saying "There's meaning behind text," it doesn't mean that some of it isn't lost, especially across these translation borders you mentioned.

I'm not going to go "Searching around for meaning."
State the shit you want to say clearly instead of having people search for what you're trying to get at
