Majesco yet lives!

This got rated a while ago, but nice to see a concrete date finally.

PS4 is in question mark since I only saw the Xbox One store page so far, but it was rated for PS4 in the past also so just assuming the date is the same week.

edit: It was also rated for PC and Vita at the same time as Xbox One and PS4: http://www.pegi.info/en/index/global_id/505/?searchString=a+boy+and+his+blob

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

Weird that there is no PC or WiiU version.

Weird that there is no PC or WiiU version.

I would assume given Majesco's extremely limited resources at this point they had to triage. Cutting Wii U makes sense on that basis (even though obviously the original was released on Wii and you'd figure there'd be an audience there). Who knows, though, maybe it's coming afterwards at some point.

As for PC, here's a hidden Steam database entry:

It was also rated for PC and Vita at the same time as XB1 and PS4. Only been able to find the Xbox One store page so far though so unsure of simultaneous release. Maybe PR should be coming soon.

Great news! Now I just need some MadWorld and some Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and I can start tossing the Wii games I've kept around for no real reason!

I'm assuming you've kept them around because they're good games? Shattered Memories in particular is a near masterpiece.

This is one of those very few Wii games that I didn't get but really want in my collection (I played it a bit and it's quite good).

With that said, two of the others were Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Trauma Team, and those both showed up on the Wii U eShop, so maybe this'll be a precursor to that showing up there.

this game was really charming. gotta say i preferred the actual platforming bits, but the puzzle segments were good too.

From what we played of the game, you guys are in for such a treat. I hope they don't add more content or I will be really tempted to wait until we eventually get a PS4 to pick it up and have us play through the rest of it. what we played was super fun though!

And the hug button is the best of course!

Oh, and fun fact--the guys who would become Yacht Club Games of Shovel Knight fame worked on this game. The hug button was the inspiration for SK's dance move.

I played this on GameBoy and I really liked it. I was always confused by what to do as I was incredibly young so it will be fun to play it now that I am older.

This isn't the same game as that. And the Game Boy game was a sequel to the original, anyway.

This is a really good game, played it on the Wii.
Think of a light hearted Limbo.
I'm so glad it's coming to other platforms though, more people need to play it.

Oh wow, I had hoped that this would end up being multiplat since last gen, great news! Didn't own a Wii but this was on my radar for quite a while.

As if January weren't busy enough? I never did get this for the Wii. I don't have any experience with the original, but I'm interested in part due to WayForward. Will check out on PS4.

The link to the Xbox website is down. :-(
Works for me, just clicked it for the first time.
