T Thanati I'll see if I can shed some light on their practices. Activision has been "rough" for those who want to work in the gaming industry, as shown by laying off 800 people while the CEO makes 1.75 million salary in the same year.
Ah, gotcha. I know what you mean.

Unfortunately this isn't happening solely in Activision. Every large company does it. Apple, for example, makes approximately 1 billion dollars a day (not joking) but they refuse to pay minimum wage at times and if anyone has any downtime, they are on the block to be let-go.

A shit-show for sure!

T Thanati The gaming industry has the ability to take responsibility and has, back in 2014: Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced he will take a 50 per cent pay cut in response to the company's continued financial problems. This isn't a business being "business" issue, it's a Activision is a public company and will do whatever keeps their investors happy issue. The problem is how it affects the gaming industry, where we don't have unions set in place, we don't have stability that other professions rely on, and Activision is taking advantage of it all to create more value for their investors.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly. However, I wanted to point out that this isn't solely an Activision thing. Any large company that has investors will be doing the same. As for Satoru's pay cut, I seriously doubt that stood for long. With the sales of Switch etc, you can guarantee the salaries will be back to normal.

T Thanati The pay cut was back in 2014, when Iwata was still with us. As for the duration of the pay cut:

"The changes will take effect in February and last until June, at which time the adjustments will be reviewed based on the company's ongoing progress."

I always did think his press conference paycut announcement and head hanging in shame were pr posturing.

Exactly. That's now 6 years ago. So i'm sure his pay is now back to normal, if not more.

I wanted to reiterate that i'm not arguing with you as I fully understand where you're coming from, but it's definitely not solely an Activision thing.

One of my League picks.

FantasyCritic just this week added the option to disallow unannounced games. You might have had to bid!

I had my fun with Call if Duty 4 remastered.

I'll take any remaster for those old games....MW2 and 3 or World at War. Not really feeling Black Ops 1 and 2.
