Dammit Gearbox stop working on non-Borderlands games! At this rate we won't get a sequel till next gen (PS4/720)

I was surprised how bad it looked actually, I've been looking forward to it for a while. Geoff on GTTV said he didn't think it was the WiiU version so I'm not relating it to the system at all, just the specific footage.

Definitive version confirmed! (I hope!)

I'm not a big Gearbox fan, but they do this game justice on Wii-U and I'll be first in line to buy a copy.

This game seems rather lame and I'm disgusted by BiA:F4, so this makes me really worried about how long we'll have to wait for Borderlands 2. :(

Best part is that you should be able to use Wiimote+nunchuck controls in conjunction with the new controller. Hell add some zapper functionality and I smell a good time.

Not how I expected to see it revealed/first gameplay, but oh god I'm so pumped for this game.

If the WiiU controller doesn't look like this

then I'm out!

Better, I would want the sequel to be an improvement on the first game in every aspect.

Yes. YES! I can hear the beeps already.

I'm still leaning towards pc version of this. But if I have a Wii U by the time this releases...and they place the scanner on the controller screen. Then oh my God.

It has to be done.

why is there an exclamation on Gearbox! they have been the developer on the game for like 4 years now.
I actually never heard of the game before and thought it'd be trash, but with Gearbox behind it it might actually become something good.

Fuck, I admit: that's a pretty great idea.

Only as long as the game is full of hamsters and Elevators. To this day when I'm replaying AvP2 I'm still scared each time I hit an elevator switch and the motion tracker freaks out. I always though it was just an alien about to pop out of a wall.

And there's even a speaker in the Wii U remote so it can make that sweet ping sound.

As the biggest Aliens fan in the world, I have been waiting for a game like this since the 90's. So hyped.

Sadly, the squad-based play hinted at when Aliens: Colonial Marines was first announced over five years ago, and which has been a part of Gearbox Software's oeuvre in the pre-toilet Nazi Brothers in Arms games, is entirely absent. This is a straight-up, run-and-gun shooter.
A boss fight with a Crusher, a rhino-like alien pitched as a brutal counterpart to the queen, sits particularly awkwardly with the rest of the action
The E3 demo comes to an inevitable climax as a fellow Marine straps himself into the Power Suit before duelling with an alien queen.

I found this on the gearbox forums while looking for Colonial Marines news:

I got to go to the panel and presentation today. No phones, no cameras, etc... Well they let us keep the phones, but had tons of people walking around wathcing and some infrared looking for anything suspicious. Randy gave a couple of warnings beforehand about even raising your phone to text. They mentioned one person had been escorted out, but I didnt see it.

It seems like they some new footage at Gearbox's community day, so maybe (hopefully) we'll get to see it in a few weeks?
