Oh, I guess I didn't notice it before.BY2K said:Nope, the bird feet shield isn't new.
They get better.jett said:I wonder what's the deal with all the shields, why would you need so many?
That what I'm hoping if not the whole soundtrack but in some areas. For an example when he opens the chest and reveals an item that's all midi. That's a trademark zelda tune. They can't make a 20 second of less arrangement? In the e3 demo here they orchestrated this @ 5:19. To me that makes no sense to orchestrate that but not the treasure chest. Eldin Volcanos midi drums didn't sound too bad but that brass sounded horrid.BY2K said:Speaking of music, the Game Informer mentions that Skyward Sword has a FULLY orchestrated soundtrack. But some music, like Eldin Volcano, clearly isn't.
Does that mean the soundtrack is not complete and the midi music we sometime hear is placeholder, or does Game Informer simply has the wrong information?

I wonder what the big round cloud is hiding...

I would love to see RPG type upgrades back in Zelda

Yep. They should have retro skins. Classic Link with the dark brown and green ensemble, N64 Link with the white spandex, etc.Sn4ke_911 said:fixed.

So far that's:

Better Wooden
Purple
Bird Feet <= New one
Hylian

I think these are all the shields we've seen so far.

Nintendo's Zelda team can do a lot like animations, graphics effects, shaders even so maybe they wanted to learn how to do these magical things called textures for a change. Because Twilight Princess still looks like they made one 100x100 texture and stretched it out over the entire game and that description is generous.PounchEnvy said:One thing I don't like is that the developers went with blocks to activate treasure chests. Why blocks? They're so boring. They could have gone with a statue or something but instead the developer decided to texture a block.

Lunar15 said:One of my problems before was that the overworld music sounded a little too bombastic. This new video definitely alleviates my fears.
Also, if you listen closely, you'll notice that the orchestrated overworld song has pieces of that midi song that played during the flying contest during the E3 video.
A very good guess in my eyes. One shield has the wings, the other has the body of the bird.Kard8p3 said:Seeing the shape of these three shields I wonder if they eventually become the hylian shield. It would make sense to not have the hylian shield early in the final game.
Maybe they're boxes so they're more unassuming and easier to hide?PounchEnvy said:One thing I don't like is that the developers went with blocks to activate treasure chests. Why blocks? Flying-squirrel like creature?
Sneaky Gato said:Well they said there would be flying enemies. What I'm wondering is how he will get out of there. I couldn't see any holes you could jump out of. Also notice when the beacon is placed the number is decreased on the upper right. I bet you have to upgrade your counter or something.
