Amazon Deal: Sign-up For 30-Day Audible Trial and Get 3 Free Books

**This might be US only**

First let me say that this isn't a spam post. I posted this in the Breath of the Wild OT, but that thread is dead and this deal seems to apply to more than just game strategy guides and it's a good deal.

So Wario64 posted on Twitter that if you sign up for Audible's free 30-day trial through Amazon, you get 3 free books (1-book is physical and the the other 2 books you get through audible). Based on comments from the Twitter thread, I think you have to be a Prime member (PRIME not required!) and it has to be your first time signing up for Audible's free trial, but it's worth a shot. Wario posted it as being a deal for the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Deluxe Edition guide, but it works with other books too, so search around if you're not interested in the guide. Also, you can cancel your free trial after ordering the 1 free physical book and you might not see the discount applied until you hit "Proceed to Checkout".

Here's a list of books that the deal might work on besides the Breath of the Wild guide:

And here's a list of books that the deal definitely works with:

Picked up the art of Splatoon with this, sweet deal

Nice! I ended up grabbing the BotW Deluxe Edition guide, but when I placed my order I didn't realize it applied to other books :/ . Haha, I think I'm just gonna toss it up on eBay and then use the money to get a book on Python programming

Sweet. By th way, Prime IS NOT required.

Awesome! Updated the OP

I got the Mega Man 25th anniversary book (out of stock but can still be ordered). It’s 432 pages of Mega Man history! Too bad it’s the soft cover version.

Thanks for the heads up. I've wanted the Planetary omnibus for a while now, even toyed with the idea of ordering this weekend but now I'm glad I held off.

If you don't see the deal, just hard refresh until it pops up for you. I was able to get it to show up after two or three refreshes.

Might as well put on here that this appears to not be a thing in the UK store, so I assume it's US exclusive?

A free copy of the DnD 5E PHB would have been nice... ah well.

Can also confirm Prime is not required for this, I actually signed up for a Prime trial with this for the free shipping.

Anyone else not having their Audible trial showing up on the website? I'd like to cancel it now but it says I don't have a membership.

Hmm, weird, the D&D player handbook isnt free for me, but the DM guide is.

On the other hand, the Planetary Omnibus for free is a fucking steal

EDIT: Weird, now the player handbook works for me

How do you tell which book it works for?

It should have the audible header above it

Like take this book free, here's how
If it doesn't and has a handy man pic, no good

Looks like Planetary it is, no other good omnibus I found

View a hardcover book under $50 that is shipped and sold by Amazon. You'll see a banner advertising the promo at the top of the page. Click on that and agree to sign up for the promo. In a few minutes (at least for me), you'll receive an email from Amazon letting you know that the promo will automatically be added when you add an eligible book to the cart and check out. It doesn't have to be for the book you voted when you clicked in the banner.

Ordered The Planetary Omnibus, lets read that Hardcover, 900 pages book

Excited!

$50 to $0.00 charged, amazing!

I noticed ff ultimania vol 1 on the list. This works even though it's a pre order?

It doesn't work on pre-orders. But the promo is valid for 30 days after signing up for it. If the book releases before your promo expires, I believe you can order it once it's available and still get the promo applied. I was going to do this for the Overwatch art book which is out 10/24 but I got the Yoshitaka Amano book instead.

I would at least wait until your item ships before canceling it. At any rate you can easily find it under the subscriptions tab under options in your Amazon account menu.
