Probably Dragon Ball when I was really young, but I don't think I paid it much attention.

Pokemon when I did. Then DBZ and Sailor Moon ,etc.

DBZ was my favourite one. Which is typical.

Most people who watch Pokemon have no idea what an "anime" is. It's just another cartoon. I don't remember going past the Johto region eps for Pokemon.

Most memorable moment of the childhood animes was Gohan vs Cell.
True with the Pokémon bit. It didn’t even occur to me that Sailor Moon or Pokémon was technically anime until I was an adult. I sort of could differentiate DBZ though, even at such a young age despite being so little. I could tell it wasn’t anything close to a typical cartoon

Sailor Moon was always relaxing to watch I think. When I was thinking about it, I think I always watched in the evening around the time of sunset in the West, so maybe 4-7pm when I did watch it. All I can recall is that it was calming to watch, and played out smoothly so it must have been well made. I can’t say though, I truly cannot recall anything besides that about it. It’s so vague in my mind that I doubt that I could remember the detail even if I meditated on it for some time. But I do remember it being pretty good

Yeah, it's tough to recall the exact feeling, but Sailor Moon was a good "comfort food" type of anime.

It was always so obvious who Tuxedo Mask was, lol. Felt weird when the characters didn't know.

Humans are the true monsters trope needs to die off already. RIP cute monster girls. (again)

I'm about three episodes into The God of High School. It's... alright I guess? Weird art style with the red shading on the noses and ears. Nice animation during the fight sequences. Feels a bit boring outside of the fights. It could use some fanservice lol.

That's how I feel about it too. Cool fights, everything else absolutely mediocore.

Some crossover fanart from me. Had this in mind for a year now and finally got arround to draw the SAO crew in a fictional neon genesis online game

Was thinking about this scene from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind + the ending a bit

This was an impressive scene. The teamwork was perfect. Giorno Giovanna and Guido Mista with the most impressive quick thinking maybe in the entire anime out of all the episodes showcased in this scene or moment in the battle. Bucciarati with the correct call to throw it, and Narancia at least fought through the pain like a man

This scene impressed me the first time I saw it. Thought I’d share it. Giorno and Mista came through big time this was amazing

All the fights are kinda crazy in Part 5. It’s ironic that the boss was probably one of the lesser entertaining fights among all them in Passione though. I thought the ending...it’s not that great at all tbh

Kamisama ni Natta Hi is a 6/10 so far. It actually made me laugh twice. I thought it was gonna be kusoge incarnate and I'd never would have watched it if I didn't have hulu.

Don't know what people's obsession with 2B is.

I know Akihiko Yoshida is a good character designer. He's one of my faves, but... Come on. It's a lady in a skirt with white hair.

Am I missing something?

Bravely Default has more interesting character designs by the same dude.

Bravely Default is chibi shit. 2B got made into unspeakable 3D porn using her in game model/custom. Mostly edits. Sorta how Ryza is plain as shit yet has more fanart than Lila. 🤷 That's my guess anyway.

Semi. It's a nice / cute balance between. Gameplay is chibi cause I guess they decided it would work better for 3DS' low fidelity.

That's the thing though. People didn't look at the chibis and get a chubby.

I sure hope not.

It might not be the chibis themselves as other more popular PHONE games have more art than Brave and Nier combined and also use chibis.

I wonder what the new twist in Watadamashi-hen will be? Rika is changing stuffs so Keiichi gave the doll to Mion(Shion) instead. Also it seems like the one gave Keiichi the lunch might be Shion(Mion(Shion))) as she was wearing St. Lucia uniform(or maybe its just Shion(Mion) wearing St. Lucia uniform for some reason).

Should I watch psycho pass season 2? I hear it's just filler which is completely retarded.
Between an obnoxious sidekick and a weak villain, you won't miss out on much if you skip it.

I don't think it's "filler" though, it's not meant to keep a distance with some source material. It's just not as good as the first season.

We don't yet know who will be the antagonist in Gou. The script was written by Ryukishi himself so its canon.

Psycho-Pass 2 is mostly meh.

I finished The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited. It was funny enough and added drama in the middle of the series.

I didn't even like the first season of "useless woman freezes and cries", so I never saw S2.

Bernkastel Bernkastel , explain Higurashi for me. I remember watching it and thinking, "wow they sure love to scream" and this NEW version still makes no sense to me.

It isn't on the Vita without major fuckery so I decided NOT to read the VN.
The console sprites are atrocius and come with additional non-canon filler not written by Ryukishi(unlike Umineko). The remastered Mangagamer sprites in Steam version are faithful to the original and you can patch the console voice with a mod. You can get Umineko on console but Higurashi should be bought from Steam.
This new season is not a remake, its a sequel. The VN and the Deen adaption are both unique in their own way.
rGiWruQ.jpg

Honestly the entire VN will take more than 100 hours to complete(around 200 for Umineko) so you can just watch the Deen adaption and pretend Gou is a sequel to the 2006 anime if you dont want to go through the VN.

A lot of the things wont make any sense initially until they are explained in Kai(answer arcs).

Since they share the same universe I'm thinking it is (or character names) I'm thinking it involves the same witch right?

Takano(Lambdadelta in Umineko) is the real culprit behind everything in Higurashi. But its being hinted that this time someone else is involved.
Better not click that spoiler, but it seems like someone else is the culprit this time.

That actually makes sense. So I'm guessing this is Bern's origin story? Cool. I don't have to read the VN anymore.

You will miss out on so much awesome stuffs, reading the VN is worth it for the ride. As for Rika she lived a 1000 years worth of repeated Hinamizawa timelines to finally turn into Bern. Since she is in the Gou official poster we may get more insight into that this time.

I don't want to read 100000 hours VNs!
