Dr. Stone comes into its own when it gets out of it's "prologue", you were pretty close to the beginning of that next part. Was the last episode you watched the one where they made the magnet?

If you like animation then definitely check out Hyouka and other Kyoto Animation shows. If you like comedy, try Nichijou.

I think I left off right when he got to the village and decided he was going to make antibiotics.

I forgot to mention One Punch man and Black Clover yes I have watched also enjoy them, I did try Dr. Stone but i dropped off around episode 8 or so it was kinda slow for me but my boss says I should give it another shot as it has really picked back up. So I may

I do not mind trying different things, I can appreciate anime other than battle shounen for other reason like i said animation and music. Thats why im here hoping you guys might be able to point me to more stuff that I wont find on the front page on crunchy roll

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is what Mob Psycho 100 would be like if it was a SOL comedy so do check that out.
91 Days is basically Road to Perdition: The Animation (a really good crime drama focused on the mafia) so try that too.

I hate reading things like this. I was also hearing the same about this(from gurk or whatever his name is on youtube). Dr Stone has great production quality and is a solid show. However, I just find the story to be kinda meh.

also my hero academias latest episode is so good. the show really like to get up in my feels unlike other shows

Bad end princess/dutches/Bakarina LN's adaptations are becoming as common as isekai.

Well, sure, the reason I like this one is that opposed to isekaied otome villainesses who did nothing wrong, the MC here is a selfish jerk who is only doing good things because she is terrified of having her head chopped off.

Started watching Cautious hero after reading about posts here, I'm having a good time with it!
I'm also going to watch psycho pass 3 when more episodes are out and that's probably it.

The shows I’m watching are heating up so I decided to take a couple of weeks off and collect episodes. Got plenty now for the current shows!

Most of em do this as well to not have a bad end in which they die or are locked up for life though. I don't remember the name of one of em I read earlier where everybody was terrified of the dutches even though she was already locked up under false charges by a bitch prince. That one was good but got axed I believe.

Ahiro no Sora is building up greatly even better than Kuroko in my opinion. Some terms aren’t right or maybe not what I got used to (NBA) but damn those characters are brilliant! If you love sports and especially basketball, watch this anime.

Been watching K-on again recently because I noticed it was on Netflix...why does such a simple anime put a smile on my face ^_^ It's not permanent cure for my depression, but it helps me forget it a little.

My nakama put it right here👊🏼

As for the mangas I’d say go like this:
1- JJBA
2- Vinland Saga
3- Monster
4- HxH
5- Hajime no Ippo
6- Yu Yu Hakusho
7- AoT
8- MHA

And if you’ll allow me to recommend you two more mangas if you haven’t read them already, read Berserk and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Edit: HOLD UP! The username is very familiar! Do you have a Geralt avatar in the other place?
Had one! I got banned for two weeks for being in the Epic Games thread and stating I dont really care what Epic does, then I got banned for two weeks and when my two week ban was almost done they perma banned me because they said I had an alt account, which is false I have only had one account there, so I tried contacting mods and explaining to them but no one ever got back to me. Irritates me still because I randomly still want to post there too.

Read the stuff that is actually finished so you don't have to go crazy like the rest of us...
Yuyu hakusho first then Jojo and finally monster.
After that I would say AoT since we are close to the end.
The rest are great too, especially HxH but who knows if we'll ever see the end.

If you're open to suggestions I would recommend finished mangas (not gonna name the obvious ones like FMA and the likes):
-Nausicaa
-Pluto
-Angel Densetsu
-Bakuman
-Parasyte
-Sanctuary

Anyone reading the crap mess that is Boruto?

Kishimoto made a mistake letting Jump milk it. I think I'm dropping.

I dunno. I like the fact that they continued the story after Shippuden. It's definitely not as great, though. If Kishimoto was the one handling it like Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, I imagine it would have been a LOT better.

Boruto is okay for what it is. If anything, it does a lot more with the setting and characters than Kishimoto did in Shippuden. It just has the same problem as Naruto, the overall story is wonky as shit and isn't good

I dropped that so fast. Boruto is one of the worst MCs I have ever had the displeasure of being exposed to (we're talking anime/manga here, you know that means something) and the way they handle past generations characters is an insult that I just couldn't suffer through for much long.

I decided to go back to do a quick watch of Burn Up Excess to see if my opinion on it changed or not. It's an older anime and I'm admittedly pretty nostalgic for it since it was pretty much the first anime series I own back in highschool. I watched the first four episodes of the first dvd set. And I have to say, it was an easy and fun watch. The memories of watching started flooded back in. The opening is banging, I forgot how good the OP is and the ED isn't bad either. It reminds me of how much I miss this animation style in anime. The characters are fun but pretty much has one quirk that's their personality. The humor is good but it depends how much fanservice you're willing to take. It's as egregious or out of place some other anime but there's a lot, but at the same time it plays into the humor fine. But hey I love the cheesecake stuff like this. I think my favorite episode would have to be the 4th episode. It's one of the supporting character's episode which happens to be my favorite character/waifu of series. Probably the most I laughed at the series thus far. The dub isn't terrible in fact I'll say it's pretty passable. Overall, it's still a fun series that old heads like me would still enjoy. I would recommend it for sure.

Oh man, I actually watch this entire series I think last year as I manage to buy the entire franchise a while ago. A fun dumb show which is worth the watch if you want an easy watch show.

If you want another fun show to watch, I would suggest the show I have finished watching few days ago.

Synopsis

In the future, advanced robotics has created heavy robots ("labors") for use in a variety of functions: construction, fire-fighting, military, and more. However, though the robots are only machines, their operators are also only human—and humans sometimes turn to crime. Since a heavy labor unit can be a dangerous weapon, the police of the future are set to fight fire with fire, using advanced patrol labor units, "patlabors." This is the story of the Second Special Vehicles Division, a motley crew of patlabor policemen and women doing their best to fight crime and live a normal life.

Just finished watching the last episodes of the TV series and have to say it's a great show to watch and I now understand why fans of the series tend to like the TV series over the Movie as it's more comedic and you got to know more of the characters in the shows while the movie tend to be very serious. The story line isn't too crazy to follow as you tend to follow the Second Special Vehicles Division to fix issue mostly stopping labors incident. It will get interesting as they is a story arch which connect to a new labors which is very different and powerful which spread out in the TV show to keep it interesting.

If you like mech battle (once a while), comedic scene between different characters in the show, and something interesting, do check it out. Worth the watch.

Your review of the prior movies made me get the blu ray collection. I'm wondering if I should start with the TV series or the movies?

It come down to if you want a serious tone or something campy and fun tone (with some serious stuff here and there). The movie timeline (plus the OVA) is more serious and a bit more darker while the TV timeline is more comedic and much a easy watch. Both are great. Just come down to your taste. Either way, I am so ready to watch the new animated Patlabor when it come out.
