Anyone else find difficult to maintain interest in PS360 due to the WiiU launch?

I'm not even hyped for the Wii U, own one , or plan to buy one until the Zelda team or EAD Tokyo grace the console, but seeing all the commotion about it, make it hard for me to even get interested in the HD twins right now, coupled with a lackluster Sony 1st party offerings.

I remember the same thing happened when the 360 came out. Though the PS2 is an amazing console and my backlog is stil huge for that system, the new shinyness of the 360 was hard to ignore and the PS2 was shelved.

I can relate to the OP. I've been finding it difficult to maintain interest in PS360 due to great Vita releases.

I still need to crack open my copy of X-COM.

It's made me more eager to see Orbis/Durango but there are still some great games coming out next year so it hasn't lessened my interest in the current systems at all.

Actually no, I had my interests for the WiiU raised a few weeks ago thanks to a few anouncements (especially Bayo2), but the launch didn't really leave me with a lasting impression. Actually I'm feeling there's few coverage of it, and the first feedbacks aren't great either.

Might just be you. I was close to getting one yesterday, but all the complaints/problems I've read about have made it easier to just wait until they fix all the kinks. Maybe if next gen hits next year, my interest in the PS360 will wane.

It's hard to read GAF but otherwise ... hahahahaha, no. All the games I've seen look like PS360 games so there isn't that "holy shit! that looks amazing!" rush to get it.

In fact, I'm terrible at buying new shiny stuff so I'm glad it's got nothing out of the gate that I really want. I might pick up a used system next summer or something.

After hearing about all the technical and other problems about the WiiU I find it hard to have any interest in the WiiU outside the exclusive Bayo2 and Wonderful 101, It's just another nintendo gimmick machine.
