I don't hear much talk about this show, which is tragic because it's incredibly well made.

It's currently on its second season, and they just aired a powerful episode on the struggles faced by immigrants, inclusion, and even an interview with Richard Spencer (the alt-right guy who got, deservedly, decked a while back).

Some folks here might remember Kamau from Totally Biased on FX (RIP), and he's an excellent host here as well. The man is hysterical, and he's also great at interviews and letting people who suffer from these issues share their stories.

The first season included a meeting with the KKK and a look into the prison, both of which are absolutely worth watching.

Check it out if you're into this sort of thing, it should be more well known, and I hope the show sticks around.

I listen to his podcast with John Oliver writer, Kevin Avery, Denzel Washington is the Greatest Actor of All Time Period, and when he first talked about having this show, I was worried it would fail. Then I saw a promo for it on TV and saw Kamau on Fallon and got ecstatic, I'm excited to be able to watch the second season and see more of Kamau just traveling and seein what's poppin here

Is it like a documentary style show where he talks about various topics and does field work? Or more something like daily show?

I'll definitely check out that podcast, sounds interesting

Also, seems like the first season ended up with an Emmy nom, so at least it's getting some sort of attention.

There's already two seasons?! I loved Totally Biased. How can I watch this? CNN? Online?

Last I checked, the whole first season was available on CNN's On Demand app, but they might have expired by now. That'd be a shame.

I'd say it's similar to Bourdain's material, but with a focus on social issues. The production values are just as high.

Here's a link, btw.

Where can I watch the full episodes? These are just short clips.
I'll add this to the OP so those interested can at least check out a clip. Thanks!

Feel a bit dirty bumping my own thread, but hey man, this show is important.

There's a new episode on now focused on the causes of violence in Chicago and it is another excellent and informative episode.

Just a heads up for anyone else who may be interested.

I've begun watching it. It is very well made and is covering important, underserved issues. This is a deep episode. I hope it's getting the ratings it deserves.

I'm surprised this thread is so unpopular, as it seems right up GAF's alley. I'm watching the show now on CNN and the host does a fantastic job. Very humble/welcoming/friendly and intelligent guy. He does great interviews and is very funny. They're currently talking about the struggles of being Muslim in America and touched on the travel ban.

I've only seen a few episodes but this one is the best so far. Learning lots of stuff!

I watched all of the first season and loved it. He's charismatic and handles difficult situations well, and he provides a good look into uncomfortable truths.

Agreed. If I'm not mistaken, there are new episodes airing now. I think the one I have on now is brand new?

I tried the CNN Go thing but TV streaming doesn't appear to work in the UK. I'll try searching YouTube then.

Might have to check out the show.

I had seen the commercials on CNN while following all the news and it looks really interesting.
