After over a year at #1, Tekken has finally been dethroned...

...by Blazblue. :/ But then again... Tekken 6 somehow managed to be so popular that it has two entries in the top ten. I guess put together, Tekken is still the most popular game in the country.:lol Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter both climbed the ranks but seems like the Loli and the RAGE is too strong to overcome!

How the hell is vanilla Tekken 6 on the list? Every arcade should have updated to BR now, and I can't imagine that anyone would choose to play on a vanilla machine. Damn, the game is unstoppable!

These numbers are from Dec. 2008.

BR officially launched on Dec. 18th.

It is pretty crazy that BR got #2 with less than HALF a month.

BlazBlue? Really? That game doesn`t seem very popular around Yokohama. I`ve been to the arcades at various times and days and the machines aren`t ever really too populated. Same with Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom.

Considering they haven't even released 15, I have given up hopes that there will be new console versions any more.

Blazblue is really popular in Fukuoka. There was always a huge Guilty Gear scene here, and the people have happily accepted Blazblue. The machines are always crowded with really good players.

Tatsunoko seems dead, once in awhile I'll see people playing it, but there aren't that many machines and I haven't seen much of a scene for it.

It's alright (the first one is the only one I've played), but I'd like a more proper port than a recreation kinda deal.
