Attention whore who puts body on display is offended when objectified by Skullgirls Dev

So... Did this chick have any legit business in talking to this guy? Was this a professional level interactions that her livelihood really is linked to ?
I mean.... people of the opposite sex are going to sometimes say things.

Come on...I can totally relate to this dude not having any blood left in his brain having a conversation with her.

I had a very brief scroll through her Twitter and she is just a fat girl using really thick filters on her photos.

Out of all the harassment claims recently, how many of them have been from objectively (ie most would agree) attractive women?

If you were going to run the risk getting accused of that sort of thing, surely you'd go for the hot ones?

Sounded to me like she wanted to compliment the designs of the game, he wasn't really sure why she contacted him, but seemed flattered, and thought "shit this hot girl wanted to talk to me", then that made his penis wake up, and then he sloppily complimented her on her "work".

Plenty of em on the her twitter. She loves the attention she gets from her tits obviously.

I'm gonna need a new monitor. Maybe.

That aside, I'm not sure what's offensive about this? Especially due to her line of work? The guy comes off as a bit cringe and weird, but that's some pretty lighthearted shit and easy to just tell them "Yeah, stop. That's not cool with me."

Well if your profession is to show off your sexualized exposed physique Im sorry but ... people are going to say something.

When I was younger and was cycling, if I dropped weight and got kind of cut women SHAMELESSLY flirted with me and I still see them do it all the time
with attractive men . Its not considered weird at all. ONLINE and non-anonymously its not like this could become a situation where she is in any danger
what so ever nor does he have a single thing to do with her work, her position or anything. She just closes the DM and its over.

People are fucking dumb, an interaction someone has with you doesn't determine their total worth- and something said in private meant to stay
private isnt something you should try to RUIN someone over... or if you do then begin to take this and make sure its applied equally and EVERYONE who
isnt a robot will just be unemployed and ruined as more and more of our daily life is recorded, or logged.

If he said something threatening or even said a bunch of mean stuff to her it would be one thing but.... over THIS? Thats her work. Thats what she
puts out there. Its like putting out appetizers and getting pissed off if I say they look good or ask if they're for everyone to take?

This thread title has strong incel energy
Don't. I am so tired of this fucking label.

I'll admit, maybe some of my attitude can come across as "incel" territory, but first of all, I just hate the whole idea of reducing someone down to a fucking label. Second of all though, I say I am not an incel because of the fact that I don't think I'm entitled to anything. I'm not entitled to a woman, I'm not angry at women in general, or for no reason, and I don't think this woman can't do what she wants with her body.

I just think she needs to own it, and understand what it implies, and what kind of people it may attract. I'm still leaning towards that she found this conversation as an opportunity to earn woke points. She had to have had fans over her career who expressed perverted comments, but because this guy is well known in the industry, it was an chance to make change, whatever that is.

As far as me being an incel, again...fuck off with that. Maybe I am an asshole, and maybe in some regards I'm bitter....but it's only because of how I've been treated. It's not because of being ignored by women, it's because of being told I'm flat out ugly, or being called a freak sometimes because I had bad teeth. That stuff fucks with your head, and makes you resentful. Being told that I can't judge a woman by her looks, and compliment attractiveness because that's "misogynistic", when it was okay for me to be told I'm ugly all my life is a crock of shit.

Edit: But you're right. In fact I'd invite a thread title change to something like "Cosplayer who puts body on display is offended when objectified by Skullgirls Dev" if any mods see this. Should strive to be better.

Damn, why did discovering her have to be on these terms. She's gotta be kinda cool, She cosplayed as friggin' Tron Bonne at one point. That would earn her some points if she wasn't pulling this stunt, lol.

Oh please! She's a fucking camwhore for all intents and purposes, and when an awkward game dev talks to her like the camwhore that she is, she gets all offended. Now era users are screaming misogynist, and continue to say things like this stupid woman about they won't be playing Skullgirls anymore.

Their loss! Skullgirls is awesome, and I'll keep playing it and buying it when it comes to new platforms.

She posted the conversation here, and all I see is what looks like an awkward nerd not sure how to talk to a hot woman.

I'd fap to her if she wasn't such a stupid bitch for trying to pull more cancel bull shit by broadcasting private conversations like this.

Geez, you seem creepily bent out of shape about the whole thing. Time to go for a walk or something buddy.

"I'm not an incel, but..." *proceeds to give incel speech*

I kid. But can't both sides win? Can't women go to fg tourneys without being treated like garbage out of the gate and at the same time you not be prejudged on teeth or something? Wouldn't that be great for everyone? In this very thread you bemoan yyour resentment, but several posters above proceed call her fat as a means of dehumanizing her argument, which isn't the best way to win one. Which is better? "That's not cool. Here's why." or "That's not cool, fat bitch."? I dunno. What she's doing is shit. Private shit is private until it becomes serious, which this is not. But can't everyone be a fucking adult? And hey, being bitter and resentful, that's snowflake shit. Man up, and take charge of yourself. Use your strengths, improve your weaknesses. Being told your ugly isn't cool, but two wrongs, sanctimonious bs, etc etc.

I just wish grown ass people would act like grown ass people. In any discourse.

You're not wrong, and I'll be the first to admit I'm not the smartest person in the world. I'm of the mind that every interaction can be a chance to grow and learn. I say something stupid, then you point it out, and I can learn from that mistake. At least I hope so.

I haven't learned from a lot of my mistakes because I don't have any friends, and no one to really tell me what I do is wrong, or how to change my perspective a lot. A lot of time, I just keep reinforcing the wrong mindset in my own head. That's why I keep posting here lately. Even though I've already had embarassing experiences on this forum, I keep coming back, and just try to learn and move on from them.

In some respects, I stay the asshole that I am because that's just who I am, but in areas I think I can grow, I'll do what I can.

I think we agree though on the fact that this private conversation of hers, should have stayed a private conversation. I may not be helping by bringing it to a public forum here, but it was already out there. I already saw games media outlets reporting on it. The damage was done. I'm posting here more to comment on the injustice of it.

Private conversations should stay private. Even if he committed a crime she could have reported him to the police.
In this situation she could have told him to stop or blocked him, instead she prefered to make fun of him posting on her twitter with 700k followers.
I swear these people got 0 empathy and don't care if they lead other people to suicide. They are just e-bullies.

Thats essentially what it is. They are cyberbullies playing the victim. Professional temptress? Tantalize men for a living?
Man responding to that? Better publicly shame him... after all he's a dog, a low animal and hes misbehaving. going against his conditioning.
God forbid. One more ploy for attention. To me she looks like a girl with a ton of makeup on and some extra weight who is still shaped ok
because shes young.... She probably is like a bowl of jello and gets winded up stairs, and since we're shaming people I can say she probably
looks like someone opened up a tube of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls once you get her out of her clothes.

Props for the thoughtful attitude, the thread title wasn’t helping you make the point you want to make.

But as for that point, I really don’t think her being a borderline-NSFW streamer is that relevant to the core problem. It just adds an extra layer of irony.

The problem is that the streamers response is not commensurate. This guys career and social standing are in jeapardy because he wrote some really awkward DMs trying to flirt with someone. That’s fucked up. But repeatedly calling the streamer a camwhore in your OP just makes the whole post lose weight. Stick to the facts and people will see the truth for themselves.

I don't understand these types of women. They do this exploiting the thirst yet when a thirsty person s thirsty they get offended. Wtf did you expect, treat you like Mary, Jesus' mother?

Etiquette dictates you're not supposed to address the elephant in the room.

Example, somone comes into your office and has the most horrendous body odor. You don't say "Fuck me you stink, get the fuck out and have a shower", you wait until they leave, then open the windows and proceed to roast their stinky ass.

Man I guess it depends on where you're from and what you're doing. God... I saw this literally happen to an employee at my last company. He was out late and just rolled into work with filthy clothes greasy as hell and wrinkled and he went into the bosses office to actually ask for something boss didnt even bother him til then, boss got one whiff of the guy and was like god DAYUM bro you cant be around customers or even other employees like this, GO HOME , without pay ,and clean yourself up the way you should have before you came in today, you can work late to make up the time (very generous IMHO).

LOL No it wasnt me either, but everyone was checking their armpits and shit for like month after that before going near the guys office.

I guess part of me still kinda thinks of streamers whose main gimmick is "look at how hot i am, give me money" to be one step away from camwhore. Bare in mind, I'm not even saying the term camwhore as derogatory, but as a statement of fact. When I used to visit sites where women streamed for sexy time, it was a site literally called camwhores. I guess now they go by different names, but I mean, they sell their body on camera for money, so it is what it is. That's kinda what she does. I guess I'm not supposed to be that literal in my description.

And I guess it is taboo to compare to these kind of streamers to women who masturbate on camera for money, but if the point is to be on twitch because you're such a gamer, and you want to be known for your merits as a gamer, stop trying to sell your body on there then. It's not a sex site for a reason. Not saying she can't sell her body, but doing it under the pretense that she's playing video games, when the main attraction is her huge tits is disingenuous.

So if this woman was a literal hardcore porn star, you don't see how (in the context of posting horny DM exemplars) it's relevant to mention she's a porn star? You do realize character witnesses and evidence are not movie/TV fabrications, yes? Her profession could not be any more relevant to the topic or discussion. These women are softcore sex peddlers, there's no talking your way around it.

So depending on someone's job they are open season to get hit on in awkward ways when trying to have a conversation with someone on a professional level?

What he said wasn't some awful thing; but he's also being rather obvious here. Is it only OK because she shows some skin on camera? Why is that?

This is how a woman loses her "someone made me uncomfortable and objectified me"-card.

Not really, this just shows that people don't understand what objectification is.
Neither do people like Sarkeesian either for that matter.....

Objectification is about your perception of people, that's why people often use the term '' male GAZE '' too.
There is nothing inherently objectifying about a woman showing her body and being sexual, objectifying her is something that you choose to do on your end just like you can choose to not view it as a big deal and ignore it or indulge in it and still acknowledge her as a human being.
There is a big difference between watching porn and still acknowledging the people in the porn as actual people and treating them like anyone else if you meet them irl, and between just literally viewing them as a piece of meat and treating them like garbage.
If it was your mom, sister, daughter or other family member and they do it or started doing it tomorrow would you not even acknowledge them as a person anymore and treat them the same way?
They're still the same person that you know, same feelings same thoughts etc. And believe it or not but these women do the same things normal people do every day they don't sit around going '' uwu '' 24/7.

It's the same in character designs in games, designs aren't inherently objectifying it's about how you choose to engage with them or the mindset behind the creator.
There's a big difference between playing 2B in Nier automata and enjoying her butt but still playing the game and actually acknowledging her as a character beyond just her butt, and between just obsessing about her butt and not even bothering with her actual characters personality or anything else. Just treating her as if she literally just is her butt, THAT'S objectification.
And it's the same if you're a designer.

It's such a strange and nonsensical mindset people have imo.
People can stick their dick inside someone and still acknowledge them as a person but if they see someone else get a dick stuck inside them ( or even just showing cleavage.... the fucking tamest shit ever ) then suddenly they can't respect that person and they're treated like complete garbage.
It's like you can do it yourself to another person but you can't see someone else have that done to them without being a judgemental and hateful moron about it.
It's only a big deal because people make it a big deal, but in reality it really isn't.

Believe it or not even actual cam girls have rules in their chats and they do police it quite heavily.
Just because someone puts on a performance for you doesn't mean that they're okay with you doing or saying whatever you want, they're still people who have limits and feelings of their own.
This really shouldn't be that hard to comprehend and it's kinda sad that so many people don't but still watch porn and jerk off to it five times a day.

People should try and actually challenge their already held beliefs about this like an actual adult sometime instead of just sitting around calling women whores and circlejerking about it with other guys for no real reason.
And if you do this shit then don't bitch about people like Sarkeesian because you're the same shit only even more of a hypocrite.
Just ask yourself '' why '' repeatedly and if you can't come up with a REALLY good reason why then it probably isn't worth being a jerk about.
