Heh, my bro's bag of crap just arrived now... (is in Sydney) but being as tight as he is, I gotta ask for his permission to open it, or he'll crack the shits on me :lol

Mine has yet to arrive though, but he didn't get the shipping notice... :S Here's some pics of the box though.

I think it was $11, and yeah, they could totally call RRP on stuff like this since the only sources we have are shady discount websites.

I think you have. A large number of us bought a 'Bag of Crap' from 1-day.com.au when they had the sale back on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Whenever and it's basically like a lucky dip but on a much larger and awesomer scale.

they won't announce the pricing for ipad which is due april in australia their response is 'the products pricing will be known on the day it launches'

What's the deal with BFBC2 on PS3 in Australia? It gets delayed a week in Australia on PS3 only (no explanation given), but I see that GAME now have my pre-order packed but won't ship it. Seriously? The game has already been released in Oz on PC and 360, why wouldn't they just start shipping the PS3 version as soon as copies came in? This is fucking ridiculous.

Was wondering besides normal avenues (ecogamer, steam) if anyone has seen any good specials on games I should be trying. Cheers!!!

Ah well that clears things up (I must of missed it to- don't come here that often). Anyway when I first saw it I thought you guys aranged something where you got everyones addresses and randomized them then it was up to them to buy them some crap- but yeah what ever works I guess.

Zavvi.com is a great place to buy games, it's cheap as hell. Other than that just keep your eye out around the internet and good deals should pop up periodically.

EDIT: Ooh, Domino Rally looks like it's only $16. That's a good price, should get it if you love crazy Japanese games. http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-domino-rally/17-1600/ for a good taste of it.

On the topic of Yakuza 3, I noticed that it has dropped to $79 on game.com.au.

I'm still tossing up ordering it or not... I have my copy of FFXIII arriving tomorrow, I really don't know if I can justify buying Yakuza 3 as well (considering I have Yakuza 1 & 2 and have never finished them)

I'm still not quite sure why Australia is the only territory in the world (so far as I can see) where the PS3 version wasn't launched simultaneously with the other versions. And even that was only a last minute change. Hell even NZ got the PS3 version on time! If there were shortages then surely other regions would have been affected?

I'm going with Atkinson.

As crazy as this sounds, its street dated for Thursday. Even though the others are out now.

I honestly dont get the hype for FF games.... They are so bad in every single way. Gameplay, story, characters.... its like... ugh. Yuck!

So...anyone know why Xbox Indy Games, and now Rockband Network aren't available?

Is it really about the OFLC wanting to rate every little piece of content? Which makes no sense given things like the GHWT music maker or things like LBP or UT3. Or the PC.

It can't be. a loophole currently exists by which DLC and download games do not have to be rated. The OFLC does not have jurisdiction on them

As to not piss off the OFLC, Sony and Microsoft rate their downloadable stuff.

XNA is a massive pain in the arse to keep that going. Rating everything would be absolutely nuts. XNA also requires a constant filtering monitor, and I guess MS Australia just don't see the market here to justify it.

So in reality no its not the OFLC, but in some ways it is.

Thing is, I can't be arsed going to the post office to pick it up because I feel so groggy right now. Flu always comes at the FUCKING most inconvenient times for me. Always.

I remember getting flu the day before an exam. Shiiiitttt.....

EDIT: The slip has "Post eParcel" ticked. I'm not expecting anything grand either :(
