Yeah waiting on 4k version to show up, but the game looks good. Would have preferred more extended cuts instead of jumping all over the place.

Battlefield 2042’s gameplay trailer fills in a lot of details and now we can see 128 player Conquest, new classes, tanks, jets, guns, and helicopters. Here is everything you might have missed.

Battlefield 2042 takes place in the near future and makes some major changes to the series. This gameplay trailer finally lets us see the game in action including 128 player maps with sandstorms and tornadoes, the new Conquest mode with sectors and objectives, Specialists, and tanks, planes, helicopters, and guns.

In this video we’re going through frame by frame to point out specialist gadgets, like the Grappling Gun, and how they play, how airdropping in future tanks like the Abrams M5A3 works, how tornadoes actually hurl players and objects, how to use the new plus system that lets you swap gun attachments in real-time, and what new details you can see on each of the maps.

Battlefield 2042 will have a technical playtest in early July with more announcements at EA Play Live on July 22nd. The new Hazard Zone will be playable in alpha pre-launch, followed by an open beta at a later date. Battlefield 2042 releases on October 22nd, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

Tom Henderson, one of the most trusted industry insiders when it comes to all things Call of Duty and Battlefield, has claimed the final Battlefield 2042 mode will be called ‘Battlehub’. Henderson made multiple claims surrounding the mode, most importantly that it will be the “ultimate sandbox experience” featuring remastered Battlefield maps.

BATTLEFIELD 2042 – BATTLEHUB

Henderson does have a solid track record when it comes to Battlefield and Call of Duty leaks, he most notably revealed the title of Call of Duty 2021 as ‘Vanguard’.

The industry insider now claims to have details surrounding the third Battlefield 2042 mode which he states is called ‘Battlehub’. In his 11 minute YouTube video, Henderson reveals multiple details surrounding the mode.

To begin, Battlehub will reportedly be the “ultimate sandbox experience” and will be known as the fun game mode with less competitiveness. Don’t expect to go into this mode with balanced elements, but instead players will use ‘Battlehub’ to have a fun time in.

Henderson claims that there will be remastered maps and other older Battlefield vehicles and weapons featured in the Battlehub, which is the main reason as to why it will not be balanced. He uses the example of a Battlefield 1 tank vs a Battlefield 3 tank, as this is sure to be an unfair fight. Fans can expect more of a fun sandbox experience as opposed to a balanced competitive mode.

Although the Battlehub will feature remastered maps and weapons, it will still run on the Battlefield 2042 engine according to Henderson.

As well as this, the mode will reportedly feature a specialist class system as opposed to the more classic class system. Most maps in Battlehub will feature a maximum of 64 players, with certain maps on next-gen being capable of 128 players.

Finally, Henderson finishes the video by claiming that the Battlehub mode will be a separate download to Battlefield 2042 but will still require a full purchase of the title. Fans can expect the Battlehub to be updated with each Battle Pass Season.

Now, Henderson did state that all of this information should be taken with a huge grain of salt as he has not actually seen footage of these claims, as he usually would. All of this information comes from an email Henderson received by an anonymous source.

This is worded poorly. Is "Battlehub" another full priced add on we'll have to pay for or does it mean it comes with the purchase of Battlefield 2042?
