How can this not look like shit?
I have no idea, but honestly, with this TV it works.
How can this not look like shit?
TLDR.
Did I miss something? My classes levels for assault and heavy have been at level 4 for like ever? Are the challenges the only way they level up?
Does anybody else have like flickering/blinking during the story mode? It like goes from like bright to not so bright for like 30 seconds and then goes normal.
Update has reset all my class my progression to 0 and I now get kicked from games. I'm so disappointed.
MTX aside I can't believe how incredibly broken this game is. I'm about 20 hours into the multiplayer and it's clear that those that purchased the Elite Trooper edition for $10 extra dollars are just running around destroying everyone with their CR-2 and elite grenades.

I consistently place in the top 3-5 depending on the playlist. And it's only 240 craft points to get a level 3 nade. Opening your first crates gets you a ton to begin with.
People will complain for complaining's sake.
Cards level Up your clases. The most cards You have more level.
Man 69 at Metacritic is really poor, i suppose this game was supposed to review much better than Battlefront 2015. And that's quite high considering some reviews did not even critique the loot box system.
Hope this will sting for EA, really hard.

Seriously. There are always a couple of dominating players, but learn the game and you will be one of them.
For all the complaints about the progression system, I find it extremely simple. Play the game, cash in the points, set up your cards. I daresay it's less frustrating than leveling up a bunch of guns in Call of Duty... and to be honest I *like* getting cool loot from the boxes.
On the one hand people complain that there's too much of the old characters in the single player, then they turn around and complain that they can't PLAY as the old characters in multiplayer. It's exhausting. Play the game. It's fun and looks and sounds amazing.
Losing progression due to bugs or losing connection is not cool in ANY game, of course.
When it all boils down, people seem to be getting off on tearing down Battlefront 2, which isn't much of a shock... because they did the same thing to Battlefront 1. These morons would rather have no 40 player multiplayer Star Wars, I guess. Smh.
Played it until 2AM last night leveling up my Heavy. It can be done and when the upgrades hit, it is very rewarding on many levels. You should rent it and see for yourself.Might have gotten this game but not with progression to loot box grind. Fuck that noise. I want to level up the class and weapon i'm playing and using. Not by opening RNG loot boxes.

Exactly. I've been leveling up my Assault guy and using the crate money on Hero crates. It's fun. The critics are all a bunch of whiny children.
One of the major review publications stated that if they had to review the game without lootboxes, they would give it a 9+, but with lootboxes, 6.5. Grow up, reviewer. I haven't spent a thin nickel of actual money on upgrading and I frequently have Top 5 match placements... and I'm an old dude who started playing days after many people.
I gave $48 for this game that I enjoy the hell out of. I don't see how this progression system is radically different from the Battlepacks in previous BF/Dice games, but people act like somehow this is akin to robbing us and tricking us. No, some of us will buy crates, others will not. If you play and get better, it's largely irrelevant.
I played the campaign via EA Access. Still have three hours left of my trial. Not sure I will use them up. The vehicle controls (specifically in space battles) on KB+M dont feel great to me but maybe I need to tweak some things
It looks and runs masterfully though

Critic reaction seems entirely justified from what I've played. I'm just constantly getting my ass handed to me by players with rare cards. Then their advantage gives them access to the special units and heroes in the game, and they continue to dominate the match with this snowball effect. Those guys are probably having a blast, but fuck me if it's not at the expense of other players who're not willing to invest in the Deluxe Edition or were not around pre-release to spend money on loot boxes..
In the few hours I played, I was only able to buy like 3 loot boxes and I got nothing particularly useful from them. Sooo yeah. Seems like it's a bad game. Gameplay advantages like that are just straight up garbage. Get out of here EA. I regret paying money for this shit.
I just finished the campaign. I fucking loved it. Cutscenes are really fun to watch. Shriv was amazing. Most of the writing and acting was on point. I wish the middle had a few more missions to flesh it out and that some of the non-Iden missions didn't exist or were played as Iden (I'm looking at you Luke and Leia). Really looking forward to the story DLC in a few weeks. Also, I had no intentions of unlocking Iden early on, but by the end I decided to use those 5k credits for that intended purpose.
Get good. Seriously. Three loot boxes after hours of playing... what are you, running in circles?
You can't even spend money to get lootboxes at this point. You're getting your butt kicked because you suck and they don't... like every other game.
EA is probably going to release a battlefront premium where you get better pings if you subscribe and front of the line access as well as double xp and points. These servers are trash this weekend. What the fuck, EA?
How exactly will getting good allow more crate purchases, when in game performance isnt even rewarded? (Or, if it is, the difference is so minimal as to make virtually no difference). And dont say milestones, because theyre one-offs, and the reward from those is paltry as well.
