is there a track list yet?

when is this due anyway?

edit: free scratch zone??????????? hahaha what was once reserved for the end of the song now a part of the note chart!

DJFX's Attack The Music... damn, I loved that song... like 8 years ago. :lol Free scratch; there's another oldskool nod to the 5-key days.

Reminds me that I still haven't received my DJMP Prestige Box yet...

Hot! :D

I wonder when we'll find out what controller comes with the bundle?

I'd like to get this 2-player controller from desktop arcade, but it's a bit out of my price range:

I got the original Beatmania recently for the PS1. Mixes 1st-5th + both Gottamixes and other stuff. While legitimate CDs, they have modchip detection in some of them. Does anyone know a GameShark code to disable it?
I remember I had to do this for Dino Crisis. (What's hilarious, I think, is that the English version of the game showed a screen in completely Japanese when it detected a modchip.)

I've never played this type of Bemani game, but I might just get this and Guitar Hero.

I love doing fake DJ stuff!

There's quite a few songs in Beatmania with that in the middle of the song.

Does anyone know if you can buy the game seperately?

I already own the Ascii 5 key controller along with the Konami 2dx 7 key, and the Konami ASC style 7 key version. Even though the bundle is only 60 bucks, I really do not need a 4th Beatmania controller.

AFAIK, you have to buy the controller and game together as a bundle. Which brings up another question... if you want to play Double, does this mean you have to buy the game twice? That would be weak. Hopefully, at the very least, they offer standalone controllers for sale separately.

I sincerely hope that it wont be filled with unlistenable j-pop trash

Nah, Beatmania tended not to have unlistenable j-pop trash. It's mostly unlistenable trash, but not unlistenable *j-pop* trash.

I can't remember seeing any *standalone* DDR controllers from Konami in stores since the first DDR was released in the States. Could be 'cos I'm in a small town, I could've just missed 'em, just sayin'.

I tried to get into IIDX before, failed miserably, sold my stuff. I knew this was coming out, it's got a "refined" version of the Konami controller, and it's cheaper, soooo... I may pick up 2 copies for a 2nd controller if need be, if I can pawn off my copy of the game of course!

I want I WANT!! I'm still very horrible at 7keys.

a question to all the beatmania IIDX fans is there any way to change the current songs on the like 8TH Style to like 5 keys or something. There's a gigantic learning curve going from not playing it to 7keys :D

Goofy interface.

Will buy, if so. And if the controllers are seperate, I'll buy a dozen.

Minus eleven.
