Im not sure if anyone is comfortable with this, but I thought in case anyone was...

I've lost 45 lbs, then gained 20 back, then lost it and now I've got 25 lbs to go to my personal goal of 180. Im 6ft tall, and size 12 is a really comfortable-curvy-healthy size for me, as I was that size for a long time heh. I keep a photo journal, and it helps me see the differences, thought it might help fellow GAF's in the same boat.

So, here's mine:

If you have any before and after pics, I think it would be awesome if you shared. Dont know about you guys, but it helps me keep going :)

Edit: Last pic date is 2007, not 2001

If I can find some, I'll put some pics in this thread.

At my highest I was 190-something and now am at 140ish. I'm only 5'6.5, so it was a pretty big difference.

Where are the after pics?

I keed, I keed.

Taking pics is a good way to track changes that you would otherwise not notice. Keep it up.

:lol man have you not seen my emo threads? Was in a REALLY bad relationship, that pic may of been from march, i really dont remember =\ I tried to find the time properties on the pics, and there was no such luck. But yeah, if shit was going bad, chocolate was the cure. Since then I've found that excersize works so much better.

This is not a personal ego stroking thread, I really want to see some other's who've lost please. Also, any negetive comments dont hurt lol, I know im not a georgous woman (and no this isn't a ploy) Im a strong woman and I can take criticism, being healthy is my main goal here...trying to get other people to join in and celebrate what they've gained from loosing.

wth, i was expecting a weight loss thread. You gained and lost weight over 2 years, who cares? This just looks like you're trying to pick up GAF men.

I don't think that the responses would have been any nicer if the pics were the same, but you were pretending to be the girl's bf. In fact, they would have probably been much worse. I know I wouldn't have bothered to close with words of encouragement.

FYI "ignorant or bold" is a false dichotomy.

You sound like an incredibly miserable, lonely person. Play nice.

What? I didn't say anything mean at all in what you just quoted. I just questioned the validity of your supposition. I'm all for healthy weight-loss and self-improvement. Kudos to you!

shoosh you, read before you post.

I did, your content and your thread title don't match and causes confusion though. Maybe you should edit the thread title to "pics of me with different weight in various times over 2 years".

The way it is now, it makes it feel like we have to answer "yes/no" or like, rearrange the pics so that it goes from most weight to less.

And no, if this were a guy i would have responded even more negatively :p

I've also been losing weight, though I dunno if I should celebrate what I've achieved (lost 30+ pounds and six inches off of my waistline) or beat myself up for not achieving more. (Travel and workload lately have stalled my improvement since I haven't been able to go to the gym as much.)

Before:

After:

Finally, I think LunaClover looks beautiful, and she and all the other people who have been losing weight should be commended for their hard work and encouraged to keep going. That won't stop any of you from being assholes, of course, but I thought I'd at least try to add some positivity to this thread.

Luna, you are pretty hot, but lose the mohawk.

I think if you could get down to 160-170 with your frame, you would be good. A woman has got to have some meat on her bones, but 180 might be pushing it. I'm just a lil taller at 6'1" and weigh that myself.

This is the best post today.

Kidding.

Does anyone have any links to some Body Journal sites, like Bodyspace.com?

Glamour shots aren't really conducive to determining whether or not someone has lost weight. If you're going to take before/after pictures then you should probably make sure everything is uniform that way the changes are more pronounced.

Oh and to the OP you really should grow out your hair again... To the levels in Nov 2005 and March 2007...

I'm not liking the short hair look... Usually longer hair on.. ehem.. bigger women.. does wonders for their shape......

I got hella lazy shortly after college and my girlfriend and I ate all our meals at the McDonalds around the corner from our house. I'm making up for it now by being a vegetarian, but needless to say, I got to be a big fat-ass. In the left pic I prolly weigh about 180-190 lbs: In the right about 155 lbs and 3 years older. I'm 5'11". Now I hover between 150-155 lbs.

I lost all the weight by eating 5-6 meals a day of 300 calories. It really keeps your metabolism going, and once used to it, your appetite in check because you never get a chance to get really hungry. I also took a "maintenance day" once a week, where I ate whatever I wanted, in order to keep my body from going to a calorie storing "starvation" mode. I also greatly cut down my fat intake and ate lots of carbs, which is contrary to most current popular diets.

My friend went from 310 to 115 in two years. It was pure hell, and she pretty much lived at the gym along with eating super healthy. She's a living miracle has she has none of that loose skins phenomenon.

I'm going to ask her if its ok to post pics of her before and after, not sure if shes going to be ok about it, but she probably will.

i hate to be awake
Let's open up Photo Booth. I've had this computer for about a year and a half...let's see how I've changed.

First picture I took:

Over the summer:

New Beard/Nosering Hotness:

Everyone says I've lost weight, I guess I just don't pay attention. I still think I'm too big. The real lesson here: I need a haircut.
