Best Buy doing apppointments for Xbox Series X|S Pre-Orders (Check Your Email)

Just got an email from Best Buy.

If you're doing in-store pickup for your Xbox Series X|S pre-order they're doing appointments to pick up your system.

They go from 6:00am to 9:00am in half-hour blocks.

BB has been pushing appointments in the COVID reopening for some reason. I did a store pickup the other day and they had a guy blocking the entrance and asking if I had an appointment..

I got mine aswell but appts aren't needed . They still have curbside and walk in pickups so I don't understand what's the point of this. Unless it's just so people who pre-ordered don't have to wait in a line if there is one

FYI - if you have a PS5 - it lets you pick November 10th. I chatted with customer service, yes it's an error. Pick November 12th.

Bestbuy usually doesn't open before 9am. Ill gladly pick mine up at 6am without complaining about it.

I can confirm that I did get an email for my PS5 Physicial pick up. Meanwhile, my 2nd ps5 but digital will be shipped to me as well.
