Kinda jokingly, I really like this scene from undefeatable..

It's cheesy, yet very straight faced. I also liked the fight scenes in Revenge of the Ninja, and Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

Non jokingly, I'd say I like the Godzilla vs Zilla scene in Godzilla final wars. Love the music and seeing those two finally meet was epic.

So what are your favorite fight scenes in movies?

The fight scene between Cooper and Mann in Interstellar is tense as fucking hell. It's pretty basic but due to circumstances and setting you're grinding your teeth watching it due to stress. That stuff, and the dialogue and acting make it great.

Maybe not the best ever but it's one that came to mind right away.

That was amazing.

There's some amazing ones that take a little while like The Raid 2's or The Man From Nowhere.

But I think Ip Man's 10vs1 will always be my favorite as far as short and sweet goes.

Edgar Wright is the secret best action movie director. I would straight up love him to direct a crazy zany Jackie Chan martial arts flick one day. That or him and Stephen Chow team up. Speaking of Stephen Chow, all of Kung Fu Hustle.

Kitchen fight raid 2 is my personal favorite.

But from a technical standpoint there are many jackie chan fights that are simply incredible.

I think Ip man is a little overrated.

The one from Ong Bak where Tony Jaa knees the dude in the face and ends the fight in one move.

But in all seriousness many of the posts before me are great...it really is hard to pick one fight that is the greatest. There are just too many that are fantastic, well choreographed, or tell a story inside of a story.

You didn't specify live action only so it has to be Sword of the Stranger's final fight, spoilers obviously.

There are some great fight scenes in movies, but by and large I feel that live action movie fight scenes are ass. They can have stakes and be great story wise, but most of the time the choreography just isn't very good. Anime does fights a lot better when it wants to (read: when the budget is high enough)
