Biggest game you have managed to beat in one sitting?

INSIDE. I bought in on cyber Monday for $14 on PSN and I just finished it on Sunday in about 4.5 hours (one sitting).

Remarkable game but I'm not sure how to feel about/interpret its ending.

Impossible, considering no other game (except for Diablo 3 and FFVII:R) has/will ever reach that amount of hype. I did 30 or so hours with Bloodborne, which in comparison was a joke :lol

Well since FFVII R will be episodic it will be practically impossible to do it anyway lol.SE cares for your well being. :p

I beat all of Crysis 3 in one setting. I was left...unsatisfied.

This is a tangent but I remember the first all-nighter I pulled. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness. I was playing it one night and the next thing I know, the sun had risen.

Halo 3: ODST Co-Op on Legendary.

I think I and 3 other friends beat it in one day. Started at about 4PM and finished it by 10PM.

Oh, I was thinking more about pure hype and not hours played :lol but yeah, somehow, some way, I will find a way to crank of 5x the playtime of each and every episode of FFVII:R.

God, just thinking about that game is making me want to do a bunch of crazy shit.

I beat Resident Evil: Survivor on PS1 in one sitting because the save system required you to die and I didn't want to.

I recall also playing through Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on Wii in one sitting.

I don't remember how much time they both took.

Super Mario Land 2.

I finished in my first sitting because it was so easy (only the final stage was challenging). Thankfully, there was enough content left for a "100%".

The entire mainline Gears of War series (individually, lol).

Halo and Halo 2 (I failed Halo 3 by falling asleep during the first mission).

I have never purchased an Xbox system but my brother does. We marathon the sequels because TRADITION.

Back when it was first released, a friend & I powered through Final Fantasy Tactics in Japanese in 3 days, in which we slept maybe 8 hours between the 2 of us.

God of War 3.

Got it the day it came out, me and my buddy powered through it that night. I know it's not a particularly long game, but that's the first time I've ever gone from start to finish in one sitting.

I won't ever do it again either, there was a distinct feeling of emptiness after beating the game in one day.

I think Journey is the only one. Unless you count getting max level in WoW expansions.

Edit nevermind I've beaten a couple of the Halo games in one sitting. 2 and 3.

I've done this a ton.

The longest was 38 hours to beat Donkey King 64 100%. It was either a weekend or summer, can't remember, but I rented it and just kept playing. Obviously I took restroom breaks and ate but I didn't sleep.

Gears of War 3. Friend and I were way too pumped for it and spent a whole day and night going through the campaign on the hardest difficulty, only taking a small break for five minutes to eat pizza. Being 17 was fun.

I think I may have done this with DMC2 as a child.

Don't even come close these days, can barely manage more than an hour at a time.

I suppose Uncharted 4 was the longest, took me about 14~ hours. I had gotten a copy ahead of launch and it was my most anticipated game of the year, so I plowed through the journey all at once. What a ride.

After that, it's really a toss-up between Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us & Uncharted 3 which all fell in the 10-12 hour range. I feel U3 was the shortest of the three, but I did all of those in one sitting after picking them up from midnight launches.

I don't know if it's an age thing or what, but at 32, I can't sit and play games for more than three or four hours anymore. I used to be able to sit for 10-16hrs, depending on the game(with piss and drink breaks of course). I just can't anymore.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on GameCube.

That was a frigging awesome nice game (at least by the time). I remember Saruman kicking my ass real hard hahaha.

I played the original Half-life from start to finish in one sitting. I didn't want to stop. Every new area I would say to myself, just one more but it was so compelling I couldn't quit. It took about 15 hours total. Basically playing from the moment I woke up until it was time to go back to bed.

The last one I can remember doing blind is The Last Story. Clocked in at 25 hours at the end. Had a really good sleep after that one.
