Biggest game you have managed to beat in one sitting?

Last of Us. I rented it on Redbox so I had to do it for one full day. I was never disappointed, it became first in my favorite list of all time after 20+ years of games not beating first place (Chrono Trigger).

Replayed Link To The Past through in one sitting before, that had to have been around 8 hours or so. I'm sure I stopped to have lunch or something, but it was essentially one sitting. I never saved it once.

Contra with the Konami Code? Breakthru?

Edit: Actually, hell I completely forgot my friend and I skipping school our Senior year to play and beat Halo 2 when it was released. Good times.

Single player I rented saw the video game and got the platinum in one go, took about 9-12 hours I think (didn't use a guide either).

Multilayer my friend got smackdown 2 back in the day, 5 of us spent the next 27 hours playing it and taking turns during each persons campaign mode.

Uncharted 3. Had to rent it because I had no money (College Time) and had to pay for every day, so I just finished it in one.

Halo 2 - co-op (leaked French edition in college).

More Recently.

Destiny - main story to get a third character up to 20. This was prior to Crota.

Assassins Creed over the course of one night.

I've powered through a lot of games in short time back in the day but normally it would take a couple sittings or three. Like ME3 I beat over the course of two days right at launch. Done that with a bunch of games.

Even games like Ace Attorney I would play all day upon getting them but would still take a break at some point and get back to it the next day or later in the day before I actually beat it.

I beat Uncharted 4 in basically one sitting. Not sure how I did it, I just didn't want to stop.

I remember reaching the Epilogue chapter as the sun was coming up. It was perfect.

Mass Effect 2. Used a VPN to unlock it early and played for 35hrs with only toilet breaks.

Nowadays i strugglw to have the will to binge anything.

Machinarium, dunno how long it took and it probably is one of the very few games that I've played in one sitting (and that was with a friend).

Every year 2 friends and I beat Tales of Vesperia in one sitting. Took around 24 hours the first year. Recently it's been more like 21. We're going to do it for 10 years, and on the 10th year we'll rent out a movie theater to play it in. It'll be dope.

I beat MGS2 in two sittings, Bioshock Infinite in two sittings.

This. I was pretty efficient so I romped through it.

latest

right?!

Probably Super Mario 64.

Honestly, I think the only time I've ever done this was with the 3rd Professor Layton game, still my favourite of the series. Typically I'm not a fan of playing games that way.

I think the first Zelda for me. But by then I had most stuff memorized so I was able to beat it in two to three hours. Not counting the second quest tho.
Otherwise, Metroid Fusion, did two sub-two hours runthroughs. Funny consideing the first time I did 100% took me 12.

Why such a strong connection/bond over that game?

I only got to play the demo, but I liked what I played of it.

Journey maybe, I don't remember if that was all in one sitting.

Finished Last of Us:Left Behind in 2 sittings on a Saturday.

Probably won't happen again for a while, I get tired of playing the same game after about 2 hours.

On Halo 2 launch, we finished a Legendary playthrough and then another 18ish hours of multiplayer in a single session. Played it for about 30 or so hours straight. Took a couple breaks for food but that was about it.

I've also completed a few other games in a single session (The Order 1886, Call of Duty 4, Portal, Knack, Halo 3, Gears of War, Hotline Miami) but that Halo 2 launch was my longest binge play session. By a significant margin.

MGS3, and I don't think I've beaten anything else in one sitting that was any longer than 4-5 hours or so.

I wasn't planning on it either, as I had just played through MGS2 over the previous week a little bit at a time. I started playing it on a Saturday morning and just didn't put it down.

Mass Effect 3. It was certainly an experience.

It taught me to never try to complete a game in one sitting cause I'll probably end up regretting it.
