Biggest game you have managed to beat in one sitting?

MGS1.

Only had a ps3, didn't know you could create virtual memory cards and thought I had to therefore beat it in one sitting. It...it was rough. And you better fucking believe I tapped out at the torture sequence soon as possible.

I took breaks to eat, but I played through all of Halo 2 on release day and then jumped online. I wasn't about to have some random idiot spoil it for me.

That was the last time I was that hyped for a game, and the first and last time I played through it all in one day.

I remember my brother and I stayed up until dawn the next day when we got Donkey Kong Country because we played it till we beat it.

Got close with the last of us
I had a break to sleep after the college and then called into work and finished it once I got up

I did finish uncharted 3 in one sitting though

Could reach King Dedede in 15 minutes lol.

Portal, Flower, and I believe I did that with Braid too.

I thought I was going to do that with VVVVVV, but Veni Vidi Vici got me.

Not much else. It fatigues me to have long game sessions (unless it's Pokémon).

Probably Firewatch last weekend. Clever game. Probably took only around 4 hours, but I never have overly large amounts of time to game straight, and I typically like JRPGs which are almost impossible to complete in a single sitting.

Call of Duty: World at War. Man what a good time CoD releases were at that time. Bought that shit early in the morning and play all weekend.

I always finish CoD campaigns asap before I jump into multiplayer.

Blind first playthrough?

Probably Journey, and only because of how short it was.

I played Zelda, LTTP and OoT up to the Master Sword in a single sitting once though. Blind, but not my first playthroughs.

Probably just Journey. Beyond that, I don't think I've ever played a game that I could easily finish in one sitting (which nowadays is about 6-8 hours). There are some games, like the Metroid Prime games, where I can get 50-75% through in one sitting, but not actually finish it.

I was sick and stayed home from work one day. I started The Darkness on X360 and ended up playing it from beginning to end in the single day. Probably the only time I've ever done that, but I was enthralled.

I remember being really worried that my 360 was going to red ring after being on for so long. It eventually did a few months later whilst playing Arkham Asylum. Twice. Lol.

Probably Journey, I don't play a lot of short games.

I almost played the Banner Saga in one sitting, that game really sucked me in.

MGS2

Though I played MGS4 for like 18 hours the first sitting (didn't finish it) which is longer than the entirety of my first MGS2 playthrough.

Nowadays I'm lucky if I'm able to play for more than 2 due to health issues (though I did play 24 hours worth of final fantasy xv in the first 3 days somehow, LOL).

probably gta vc on ps2. my brain kinda went crazy with reality. after i beat it in one sitting and went outside i kept thinking to steal a car every time i see it (ofc i didn't but it was entertaining to see my brain fucked up like that).

Uncharted 2.

Sat down in the afternoon to start playing. Stood up again the following morning after finishing a stunningly paced game.

The biggest game that I've beaten in one sitting blindly would be Infamous First Light. I even platinumed it on release day.

The next game were i will probably will try it but will fail is Zelda: Breath of the Wild, i could easily have no sleep for a few days as a 12 year old kid but now that i am 21 years old i do love some sleep. So i guess i will fall asleep after 24 hours or so:P

Umm i'm not sure if some of you are joking or being serious...i mean games like Skyrim and Morrowind in one sitting?

Silent Hill 2. Rented it at a friend's house and didn't have a PS2 at the time.

My friend tapped out around midnight and fell asleep, I marathoned that sucker until 4 or 5AM. Got the shitty ending. Still worth it.

Vandal Hearts, finished it in one all nighter about 10 hours

Portal 1 - 2 hours

Modern Warfare 2. I know it's not the longest campaign ever but I remember coming home, sitting down, and playing through the whole campaign that afternoon/evening. Friends got on about halfway through and went online for multiplayer and I just stayed in a party with them and talked while they played that and I did the story.

Journey? It's definitely Journey. Flower would be the runner-up.

I've never had enough time to beat other games in a single sitting on my first playthrough.
