True, but it's more than that. Imagine you are living in a neighbourhood after you have done your stint in jail for DUI and are now being rehabilitated. No one in your neighbourhood knows about this and has maintains an amicable relationship with you. Now, Blabbermouth comes along and publicly shames you. Remember that people in general tend to judge others by their cover before they personally know the person and even then people aren't free from it. There goes your public face.

It's more about dehumanizing and humiliating with this kind of BS.

The business model itself relies on this being blackmail. If there was no motivation to have the profile removed, he wouldn't make money. The mere fact he's writing a letter and offering this removal for a fee out of the kindness of his heart completely betrays his justifications. Every letter he sends out constitutes a felony if he were to be convicted.
