Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming to Switch. In an official news notice sent out to system users via Nintendo of Europe, the game’s logo is featured alongside several other titles.

You can see Bloodstained’s logo in the second to last column below, towards the middle. The graphic is similar to what was sent out a few days ago following the Nindies Showcase, but Bloodstained’s inclusion is new here.

I'll just bring up that many times I said it was a bad idea to push for a WiiU goal for this game, and this doesn't help, either. It will probably be the last game released for the system at this rate.

Expected, but good to know anyway. I see the Wii U version getting cancelled if it hasn't already.

I would be shocked if the Wii U version actually comes out but you never know.

YES! Very excited about this, seems like a game I would love to play on the go. Now to just wait patiently until it releases...

Well that wiiu /Switch port is not being made by the main team so i don't think it will matter in the long run

Good. One down.

All we need is Nuclear Throne and Axiom Verge. Isn't Guacamelee headed to Switch as well?

Fantastic!

How do we change the version we want? Between my wife and me, we requested PC, Vita and PS4 via the Kickstarter. I think I will change Vita to Switch. Or maybe PS4 to Switch. Not sure yet.

Looking at this list makes me really wish there were a calendar detailing all none Switch releases. There's nearly 10 games on that list which I'll be Day One on if they're a decent port, however I have no idea when they're out.

Nice! I can definitely see the Switch becoming my main indie console. PS4/Vita has been great so far, but the Switch feels like an evolution from this point of view.

Can't be cost effective to port a game to an entirely different engine on a system very few will actually buy it on.

Nintendo doesn't say what's coming to the eShop too far ahead. I'm surprised we already know Blaster Master is coming next week.

"Throughout 2017"

Yeah, okay, lol.

We'll be lucky to see any version of that by 2019 even at this point. XD

First game I backed up and already regretting it, don't care for switch announcement if they don't have a single news since like forever.

Bit off topic, but I don't see Spelunky on that list. Hope it makes its way to Switch eventually, if this thing is going to end up replacing the vita for portable indies.

My worry is that it's going to be pushed back again because they're integrating the Switch now.

It's going to be an amazing game...whenever it comes out. :D

Just waiting for my Vita version anyways.

They do monthly updates. Check the Kickstarter page or your email. They just rebooted development a few months ago, so there's nothing to show yet, but they do updates anyway.

You can change your survey answer via the Fangamer portal (you should have gotten a link per email), but there is no Switch option as of yet.

Have they already committed to a simultaneous release date on all systems? If not, then I wouldn't mind it if the Armature ports (Wii U, Vita, Switch) come out a little later if it means not delaying the lead versions.

This.

Get a very bad feeling about this.
This game was kickstarted it doesn't follow traditional development/release cycle.

Most games are in development for 3 years get a reveal then are released some months or a year later.

When this game was announce there was zero work on it, there was a pitch and the game was funded and THEN development started.

Also, Igarashi isn't Inafune. Igarashi is actually involved in the development of the game and isn't just providing a face and a pitch. He's also used to working with a tighter budget, as well.

I fully expect them to meet release in 2018. Worst comes to worst, they likely will release additional features in later expansions ala Shovel Knight.

Agreed. The reason this project was delayed was mainly due it not meeting the standards that Igarashi felt it should be at, so instead of pushing out something that was below par, it was a complete overhaul to make it better than it was.

Of course that also means that it probably won't release unless it's pretty much fully complete, so the latter probably won't be practical since it's about quality, and not speed for this project, which I certainly appreciate, but still sucks waiting. :(
