Borderlands 3's next DLC revealed, titled Bounty of Blood: A Fistful Of Redemption

Borderland 3 developer Gearbox has unveiled the next DLC for the game, titled Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption. It's a western-themed expansion that pits you against a bloodthirsty gang called the Devil Riders.

The main town Vestige, located on the frontier planet Gehenna, will change based on your actions in the DLC, like storefronts reopening and the theater showing lost film reels. NPCs themselves will change based on your choices in side-missions as well.

Bounty of Blood is coming on June 25. Cox also teased the eventual fourth DLC with an image showing a Psycho surrounded by plenty of havoc.

The Borderlands Show stream also announced the Revenge of the Cartels live event will end on June 4, and be replaced on the same day with the next one, Takedown of the Guardian Breach. Meanwhile, the game just received a new hotfix that will start to wrap up the Loot the Universe event.

Can't find official video for the annoncement, but there is this breakdown of the news

I am WAY behind on BL3. I need to log back in, hit the new level cap (whatever it is) and run through the DLC I missed already. My Gunner Moze is dusty and rusty. I also need to check out how they reworked Mayhem mode/levels

Dev interview and gameplay, comes out June 25th

After such a weak campaign (storywise), I'm glad the DLC seems to be better by most accounts. I still have to play DLC 2, but I've heard it's even better than the first, and the first was already better than the campaign. The free updates have been nice as well.

Yeah I really need to check out the first two DLC additions before this one comes out. They are Moxxi casino heist and Hammerlock wedding, right? Haven't Mayhem levels been reworked too?

Still haven't play that gay-marriage campaign, because they still haven't fix ultrawide map-screen, quest or new area infos.

I just finished the campaign and that was enough for me. It got old. Don't think I could dip back in again unless the DLC was AMAZING.

Yes. But I haven't played Borderlands 3 yet. I usually wait for all the DLC to be released. I was just wondering what gay-marriage game means. Is it the colours or the themes in the game?

Ah, well then.

Borderlands 2 introduced an openly gay character and he's getting married. That's why people call it the gay marriage campaign :)

Looks like this one will be a lot of fun. Loved the first two DLCs and the base game. This series is really the only loot focused shooter I enjoy with friends still. They put out enough story content, side quests etc. to keep me interested vs. things like Destiny, or especially Anthem, where the campaigns are short and it just doing the same old strikes, raids etc. over and over hoping for better loot.

Yes. Mayhem is completely different, and you don't have to reload an area to change the mayhem level or re-roll modifiers. Another nice thing is that you can now skip cut scenes. And if you're on Sanctuarary III when a story development is happening, you can also play the Science mini-game to pass the time and gain some small character boosts.

As someone who hates the base game's story: the first DLC is miles better. Really enjoyed that one. Just started DLC 2 (the gay thing isn't really as central to the DLC as the Cthulu setting is). Enemies are a bit spongy but I've just started.

Can someone explain the Borderlands 3 save system to me like I'm a 5 year old?

It currently DOES NOT have actual cross-PLAY. So no, you can't be on PS4, PC, or Xbox One playing with each other. You have to be on your respective systems.

As far as I can tell the cross-SAVE system works like Destiny 2, in that your characters and weapons are the same across all platforms.
