British taxpayers are STILL funding 'lessons in hate' at Palestinian schools where children are made to stage mock executions

British taxpayers are still funding ‘lessons in hate’ at Palestinian schools more than a year after ministers were told they could be inciting violence against Israel.

It emerged last year that the Department for International Development has helped pay the salaries of officials who drew up a new curriculum that teaches children the virtues of becoming a jihadi.

Plays put on at schools and summer camps have even included pupils staging mock executions.
One in Hebron featured a child draped in Palestinian colours ‘shooting’ another dressed as an Israeli soldier.

Textbooks teach five-year-olds the words for ‘martyr’ and ‘attack’, while teenagers are told that those who sacrifice themselves will be rewarded with ‘72 virgin brides in paradise’.

But despite promises earlier this year that the curriculum would be reviewed, the books are still being used by the ministry of education on the West Bank, activists revealed.

Joan Ryan MP, chairman of the Labour Friends of Israel, said aid to the Palestinian Authority, which governs the West Bank, should be suspended until the books are removed.

‘It is absolutely appalling that the Palestinian Authority is using British taxpayers’ money to teach these lessons in hate,’ she said.
‘I simply cannot understand why ministers have spent over a year dragging their feet, coming up with excuses for the Palestinian Authority, and allowing this to continue.

‘They need to get a grip and suspend the money we pay to the ministry of education until we have a cast iron guarantee this vile content has been removed once and for all.’

Britain is giving the Palestinian Authority £70million in the current financial year and some of this is being used to help pay the salaries of 33,000 teachers and education officials in the West Bank.

In the spring, Foreign Office minister Alistair Burt admitted that these officials were ‘involved in the implementation process’ for the revised curriculum.

The school books, which were introduced in September 2017, teach ten-year-olds that ‘drinking the cup of bitterness with glory is much sweeter than a pleasant long life accompanied by humiliation’.

Terrorists – including Dalal Mughrabi, who led the 1978 ‘Coastal Road Massacre’ in which 38 Israelis including 13 children were murdered on a bus – are described as ‘heroes’.

The books also contain violent poems which extol the virtues of ‘sacrificing blood’.
Miss Ryan first raised the issue of the textbooks with Mr Burt in September 2017.
In March, Theresa May promised a review of the curriculum, pledging that it would only ‘take several months’.

Mr Burt later said he would establish a review which would not report until September 2019. This review has still not been commissioned.

Last month he said the Palestinian Authority has ‘taken action to help address concerns raised’, including ‘piloting new textbooks’.
But research by the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education shows that there have been no major changes in the school year that began this September.

The Department for International Development said: ‘We have always been clear that we expect textbooks used by the Palestinian Authority to be academically rigorous and they must not incite racial hatred or violence under any circumstances. We will continue to raise our concerns about incitement.’

If Britain is willing to fund this half way across the world, what are they turning a blind eye to what happens at home?

Israel and the non-Israeli inhabitants of the occupied territories are at war and have been for decades. The schools of a people at war are going to have militant indoctrination. Those are just facts about the world. If Britain (or anyone) is going to try to have it both ways and fund both sides of the war, what we see here is inevitable.

What's the problem? This appears to be the "right kind of hate" according to these ideologues.
I'm considering converting to Islam. You get all the benefits of being a coveted "POC" while getting to be a right ring bigot nutcase at the same time...

Of course teaching children to kill, want to become Jihadist and terrorists, that 72 virgins await them, that terrorist that kill 38 people are heros is completely normal.

I wonder if you would say the same thing about the Hitler Youth to? But sure lets indoctrinate the next generation to grow up hating and wanting to die.

Now we see how much terror Israeli's have to suffer through, you don't think this shit is going on across Europe and might be a reason why there has been an increase in terror attacks in Europe?

Yes, if Britain were funding Germany in 1938 I would say Britain should not be aghast that some of its funds were going to the Hitler Youth. Pointing out the way the world works is not stating a value judgment.

Well lucky enough there are those in Britain who don't agree with brainwashing children to kill Jews.

Just keep it in mind next time you think about the next terrorist attack. That the perpetrator was brainwashed when they were a child to want to do Jihad become a martyr and kill Jews. And after the brainwashing is done Abbas has made one of the best paying jobs to be a muderer of Jews.

The one time you’re not acting like a sneering prick, it’s in defense of terrorist indoctrination of children. Jesus Christ LOL

Hey @Dunki looks like Germany and Merkel didn't want to be one upped by Britain.

A German member of the federal parliament urged Chancellor Angela Merkel's administration to explain on Monday why tax payer funds are being used to stoke Palestinian hatred and violence in school books, including praise for the Black September group’s murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

Responding to a BILD news article that exposed German financing of the Palestinian Authority’s education department, Frank Müller-Rosentritt, a MP for the Free Democratic Party, wrote on his Twitter feed: “Unbelievable, children should receive an education for a better future, not be educated for hate and violence? Federal government must provide an explanation. German tax money should not flow into terror propaganda.”

According to the BILD report, based on a study by the organization Impact-se, Palestinian textbooks are filled with examples of the glorification of terrorism.

BILD wrote that the Black September attack and Palestinian airplane hijackings are presented as “success” stories. According to the school material, the murders of the Israeli athletes are commented on as a “strike against Zionist interests abroad.”

The kidnapping of airplanes by the US and EU designated terrorist entity the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) is termed “Operations against Zionists” in the school material.

So the UK state sponsors playacting another Holocaust, but tries to send people to jail for making a dog do a Nazi salute.

Maybe Dankula should have just painted himself brown. Or his dog. I guess his dog would have worked better.
Dogs are haram. ;)
