Hmm, this trailer doesn't really do much for me. Seems like the same old from the other years. Do hope it goes back to being as fun as CoD4 and MW2 again.

JESUS CHRIST... The TRAILER isn't even 24 hours old and people are already talking about tech stuff on neogaf.. God damn. I honestly don't quite understand all the obsession on these forums.
Also this. Its well established how the generation is going to go in terms of graphical differences between the consoles but it's absolutely necessary that we keep beating it into the ground.

....Wha..what, what is this?

Meh, he's knee-deep in the whole Bryan Singer thing. I just can't separate what I know about him from seeing him onscreen. This has nothing to do with anything, though, so I shouldn't really have said anything in the first place. Sorry to derail conversation.

Anyway, I wish I could enjoy an FPS with a dual-analog setup but once you go Wii Remote you never go back!

Who would be paying Activision not to announce the Wii U version? It's not really going to affect how the PS4 or Xbone version sells...

Yeah, they had an "excuse" the last two years not to announce it.

In 2012, Wii U wasn't out yet. In 2013 they muddied the waters with talk about what was/wasn't considered "next gen", and speculation was that if Wii U was "next gen" they might be prevented from announcing immediately due to contracts with MSFT, etc (which still sounds like BS).

But this time, there's no logical reason why anyone would pay Activision not to announce it.

Then again, they did this with the Wii versions too; a late stealth announcement and quiet release with the game seeing zero coverage before it was actually on store shelves.

Well since this is the first Call of Duty game developed solely by sledgehammer games, I'll give this one a shot. The trailer looked great, but I need to see more gameplay especially of the multiplayer. Hopefully the spawn system is way better than the last few games (mainly ghosts).

Looks interesting, but also doesn't look like it separated itself too much from BLOPS2 level of tech, obviously there is more but seems like they will have trouble making it feel fresh.

All about how the multiplayer is in the end, don't give a shit about the campaign and won't get burned by some cheap co-op horde mode like Ghosts.

Yeah, I'm definitely banking on there being a Wii U version whether they announce it now or later.

It is odd because in the opening segment the AA looks really good, but then as you say in other parts it looks weak.
Funny you say that. Here are opening stills:

Wii U am cry lol.

So I guess this is the sequel series to Modern Warfare? Doesn't seem as interesting, but could be pretty cool.

Shameless self plug, but whilst we're debunking the WW1 rumours, I remembered another COD rumour from a while back...

http://videogamesuncovered.com/xbox...or-call-of-duty-despite-leaks-to-the-contrary

i would call your article presumptuous as best...the marketing deal has little to no bearing on which platform leads for development...

the part about publicly announcing a switch i can see Pete being called on...but the lead platform stuff id defend him on...

idk how long the MS/Acti/CoD deal was signed for (have we ever been told?) but i dont think it would be shocking if it were to run out at some point this generation, and sales continue on their current trends that it could switch...

i hope if that happens that you are willing to write the follow up article apologizing to Pete...

You really shouldn't deceive your friends like that by making stuff up.

Nothing there is made up. The games not released on that list are said to be at those resolutions and frame-rates upon release. The devs for The Crew said 1080/30 on both for parity. It caused a shit-storm thread.

Can't believe you actually wrote down 1080p for Dying Light, when Techland has only ever said "full-HD for PS4" and something along the lines of "we're 'aiming' for 1080p on Xbone [but no promises]."

Looks good visually but still had the cliche "COD" movie like action.

May still give it a chance though. Will wait to see what others have to say about the game.

Which i'm happy about. I really love CoD's rollercoaster brand of action during the campaign. And it does it far better than any other FPS even though so man have tried to pull off the formula in recent years.

Techland is trying to get 1080p on XB1. If they don't, it will be adjusted. It's not like I'm posting it at ign for the world to see lol.

The fact is, you were wrong on your 80-90% claim.

I got one for PS4 also. :p

It's really not. They shat out two "meh" ports of the last two games onto Wii U with few updates/patches and no DLC. They probably know they've screwed Wii U buyers twice and they know we won't be biting again.

There was no biting the previous two times
