why launch with the other next gen versions and not on the same day as PS360? would be pretty depressing if the WiiU version then doesn't look like a in between version or something like that

Weird that it would launch with the PS4/One versions when it will most likely be a PS3/360 port or worse looking at last year. That seems actually unfair to Wii U

This is great news for Wii U as it checks the box for "does it have call of duty". The game might sell poorly but just the fact that Nintendo can say "yes, we have call of duty" means a lot.

That seems kind of weird.

It is Always that way with the Nintendo version. Just an odd quirk of the industry.

I have been saying for weeks and weeks it was coming and it wasn't allowed to be talked about but people kept saying no no you are wrong. So finally I can say Told you so!

Cool, but I still have no interest in this game. Ghosts looks really unimpressive to me, even for a Call of Duty game. I hope the massive influx of open FPS games next-gen takes over CoD's popularity, because those look a lot more interesting to me as someone who isn't into FPS games, and the guys who currently work for Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer/whoever makes these games seem to have lost whatever touch they had.

I wonder if Activision is lobbying for some sort of licensing incentive from Nintendo? Reggie and Activision are so coy about it, maybe they're negotiating something behind the scenes.

You know, Nintendo's 3rd party lineup for this fall/holiday isn't that bad*

*Its 2014 and beyond that looks awful

I figured it would be the opposite? Mario Kart 8, X, Smash for both Wii U & 3DS and Bayonetta 2 are already confirmed for next year. I think we get Yarn Yoshi next year too?

In my little world, I'm hoping Nintendo announces a third party Direct and announces a whole bunch of games, Reggie was being very "ahh...We don't want to say anything" in the GameTrailers interview.

Would Third Parties really ditch the Wii U this early? It still has time to turn into a success, and I don't believe the Wii U's power will have anything to do with it this time.

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.

I think frankly this fall/holiday is the height of Western 3rd party support.

The area that you could possibly/conceivably see some increased support is from Japan, since right now it is basically zero. Nowhere to go but up!

Well it could always stay at zero.
