Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare |OT| Space Ghosts

Rhetorical question here, but how worthless is the FTL's Perception perk?! I have no idea what it does or how it is useful in any shape, way, or form.

I'm not experiencing anything like this. It feels spot-on for me – leagues better than the first week of the beta, for example.
 
The only way I seem to level up is to play domination during 2XP weekends. Other than that, I'm fucked.

The game is fun, not addicting fun, but fun. I'm enjoying single player and going through the curve of MP. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I'm on PS4, why are teams always uneven as far as player count?
 
How am I getting melted by SMgs from across the map...

Everyone is so bad too. Almost every single game is one sided with UAVs going on the entire game

Eh, I think it's pretty helpful. Let's you know if an enemy is sneaking up or targeting you from long range.
 
Ive installed the game through a code on ps4 but when i start up the game and choose campaign from the main menu, theres this yellow install screen... and the damn loading line won't move. Waiting for 20 minutes already here. Is it because of servers?
 
Grenades are useless in this game. Not only is the throwing distance weak as hell, but they almost never get kills – I routinely get 3-4 hitmarkers with them but no kill. Maybe some of the later unlocks are better...
 
Why is the UNSA's standard outfit in Campaign cooler looking than all of the Warfighter Rig's unlockables?

They're up there with the main missions to be honest. Not quite as long, involved and with as many explosions but I just love the scenario of quietly breaching a giant enemy space ship. A couple of really stunning vistas while you're drifting through space approaching the target. They're really mixing it up too. At its core it's still CoD obviously and the mechanics might not be quite as tight or interesting as Titanfall but it manages to do a lot with what's there. Bunch of fun weapons too.
 
I've been getting "Bamberga" connection errors with a few of my friends since Day One. And i cannot find any information about it on the CoD forums. What the hell does it even mean?! Seems a bit silly for Infinty Ward to have these status messages, but no KnowledgeBase explaining what they mean or how to fix it.
 
Ugh, they either nerfed my beautiful P-Law's scorestreak destroying capabilities, or they gave UAVs more health. Takes TWO hits to take them down.

Playing the campaign on Xbox One and like every 5 minutes my game starts running at 5 frames a second. Only fix seems to be to keep going back to the home menu and going back the game a couple times over will fix it, until it happens again.

Anyone else having the same issue?
 
So how was the campaign in this entry? I really enjoyed Advanced Warfare but didn't like Black Ops 3 very much. I usually always buy COD for the single player but been kinda hesitant after BO3 :(

Much better than BO3. It's up there with IWard's best campaigns, MW and MW2

I think you'll love this, if you enjoyed Advanced Warfare.

This is definitely my favorite COD campaign.

I'd say better than MW2 as I honestly felt half that campaign was just unnecessary fat, which is silly considering I beat MW2 in under 3 hours.
Game should have focused on the Rangers and US invasion and ditched 90% of TF141's pointless chapters(but that also hurts it as thats where a lot of "cool" comes from).

I swear it would be more efficient for the announcer to tell me when there's NOT an enemy UAV.
 
ok finally got ghost. might just be a coincidence/placebo but i'm suddenly not getting killed 15+ times a match now. just need to stay away from low level teammates when they pop the uav. that or use them as bait

Yeah exactly lol.

I do find Metacritic to be pretty handy, collecting all the reviews together with an average score but the user reviews are a joke, I really don't know why they bother letting people post that tripe because its mostly 0's or 10's lol

Yea, might just be my memories deceiving me, but I loved the MW2 campaign. Roach and Ghosts death scene was some crazy shit. I put MW2 and IW on the same level, while MW is still the GOAT
 
Finished the Campaign earlier today, and boy... I had tears in my eyes. Especially in the credits.

I wish they just dropped the Call of Duty name & dropped the MP as well, and focused purely on the Campaign for this game. They could have easily spent that development that money into more missions and fleshing out the side characters more such as Hamilton.

At least 90% of the side-characters got snuffed out of the story unceremoniously once they were called into battle, such a waste. And sadly with Activision putting effort in the wrong place, we'll never have DLC to expand the campaign.
 
So I absolutely hated playing the MP last night but today I thought, what the hell, it's double XP so I'll give it another shot. Went into frontline and holy shit is this mode fun. It's so much better than anything else I've played and might keep my interest in the multiplayer.

Frontline is fantastic. I have no idea why it has such a low population base.
