Call of Duty Most Broken Guns

The STG44 (also known as the MP44) has been in Call of Duty games from the very beginning. Let's take a look back at every game to feature the iconic World War II assault rifle.

When Call of Duty launched in 2003, the World War II first-person shooter offered several weapons in both its campaign as well as multiplayer. Of these, the STG44 quickly became one of the most used and recognizable assault rifles. A a well-rounded weapon, the STG has made its way back into several other Call of Duty titles from Call of Duty 2 and 3, to more modern titles like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and 2017's Call of Duty: WWII.

With every entry, the STG has seen minor changes. Earlier titles offered little in the way of gunsmithing or cosmetic customization, but beginning with Advanced Warfare, the rifle received optional skins and tactical upgrades such as upgradable optics and magazine sizes. For the most part however, the biggest changes include sound design, reload animations, and how close (or far) the player holds the rifle while aiming down sights. Some games like Black Ops 3's Zombies mode also have unique stock iron sights.

With a strong presence in more than a dozen titles, the STG44 will be returning to the series with Call of Duty: Vanguard this November.

17:12 - Call of Duty: Vanguard BETA

Cold War:

Akimbo Marshall: One shot kill from close to medium range GUARANTEED
Akimbo Diamatti: You don't need an SMG. Hip Fire accuracy probably closer to 100% than 30%
TEC9: Put long range scope on this SMG. Sit in the back and camp. Profit
EM2: You don't have to put anything on this thing. Profit

Funny thing is that the above were supposedly nerfed but people still use them in multiplayer and they're still deadly.

Jonathan Ferguson, a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries, breaks down the weaponry of Call Of Duty: Vanguard’s campaign, including the iconic M1 Garand, the STG 44, the MP40, and the Owen Gun.

No doubt dual 1887s was the dumbest OP guns. Thankfully Activision fixed it with a patch a month or so later.

I'd say ACR in MW2 was broken too. It needed an extra bullet or two to take someone down but it shot super fast with ZERO recoil. It had sniper like precision and you could pick off people from across the map. I guess Activision and gamers didn't see that as broken. I loved using it. You could tell it was kind of broken because in MW3, the ACR accuracy was gimped.

Seems Call Of Duty launches with broken guns every single time and the devs do fuck all to fix them.

Cold War is still a mess and I heard Vanguard has a two shot shotgun and broken weapon melee as well. Seen videos on youtube no how broken the game is.

Battlefield is also ass. Shocking that there's no decent FPS out now apart from maybe Halo.

Call of duty took a nosedive in fun the moment they got rid of GOOD shotguns as secondary weapons and mw2 worthy n00b tubes.

The perks are so poor now you can make a class with nothing and hardly notice a difference worth a damn.

That's why Modern warfare 2 mp was never remastered. Only the campaign.

If they remastered mw2 might as well pack it up, and call it a day.

Modern warfare 2 is THE BEST fps ever made.
Held back by a few improvements that would transcend mw2 into god like status if a GOOD FAITHFUL remake were to occur.

I think it was MW3 where it became rat mazy with a giant improvement in SMG accuracy and effectiveness. From there that's when varied gameplay from lots of shotgunners and snipers dropped. COD is basically an SMG and AR game since probably around BO2 You hardly see much shotties, LMGs or snipers.

Those old ass COD games had the best gameplay variety. You even had commando runners knifing people. You never knew what kind of gamers you got in a lobby.

Now it's SMG and AR. Not sure why Activision skewed their games and maps this way. People loved those old CODs with different gameplay.

Vidyagames know less about guns than Pedowood, and they don't know jack shit.

I was given a goddamned FAL as the starter gun in Far Cry 6, ex-fucking-scuse me?
