YES
COD going back to its roots, baby.
Yeah, because development on this started like yesterday.
Ya id be more happy with a Vietnam game ww2 is mehThis.
I couldn't be less excited to go back to ww2
WaW still the best CoD MP though
Has there ever been a COD not on PC that was mainline?
I said this in another thread...WW2, why always WW2. Are companies that afraid to do something new? Who not try Vietnam or something else?

Oh I know! It's just that I skipped AW and (thankfully) BO3 so the last CoD game I played was Infinite Warfare. I have faith in Sledgehammer after the idea that Infinite Warfare was going to suck according to GAF was proven wrong. I enjoyed IW so I'm super hyped for my first Sledgehammer game. It's a different studio, but they did do Advanced Warfare which was great.
We don't even know what it looks like, so what kinda comment is this?

If it looks anything close to last year it's not gonna be on Switch or be the same version as the other 3.We don't even know what it looks like, so what kinda comment is this?
Ah well, first year since the first Modern Warfare that I'm skipping. Hopefully back to modern next year!
Yeah that's me too! That's why I didn't play Black Ops 3 after I heard about the disappointing campaign.I'm the weirdo that plays CoD for the campaigns.
I'm expecting this to be more World at War than Call of Duty 1/2, but close enough.
WaW still the best CoD MP though
Asking this again for page 2. Does Sony still have the marketing rights for CoD? I thought I remembered them signing a multi-year deal but I'm fuzzy on the details.
WWII COD and destiny 2 in the same year. I couldn't be happier.

About time we go back to WW2
Enough of this future crap, give me boots on the ground and a groundwar with tanks (and killstreaks turned off in that mode)
I expect this as the opening mission.
No i think its because America lost Vietnam is why its a rare breedWhile I'd love a Vietnam CoD (campaign could be great if they took cues from all the Vietnam movies out there), I think the main reason is because WWII is a global theater so you can get some pretty good variety in areas/scenarios. Vietnam would look pretty samey.
And when he gets to heavenI expect this as the opening mission.

Disappointing is too kind of a word to describe that campaign.Yeah that's me too! That's why I didn't play Black Ops 3 after I heard about the disappointing campaign.

The MP was the worst in the series.

One that assumes they're using the same, but modified, engine they've been using? I mean unless they completely scrap it for one that doesn't look as good.We don't even know what it looks like, so what kinda comment is this?
I wouldn't say unpopular. It's more like people don't really give a fuck about it(atleast in Germany).Glenn was saying they were making one, but that they kept getting informed the war was extremely unpopular in Europe, and that this was going to be a problem.
