People are being babies about cyberpunk when I was a kid I would be greatful as hell to have a game like this these are grown men crying about a video game.

The Cyberpunk hate lasted for a second and still sold millions, the game isn't going to be in anyone's top 10 games of all time lists, it's a decent game that was taken advantage of by reviewers over a game just needing a patch.

In my opinion the best thing they could've done is gone radio silent and do their best to spend the year ironing out bugs, fixing AI, and adding lots content (mini games, gun/car/apartment customization, cosmetics, etc) to try to get the next gen version as close as possible to what they promised. Then try to come out with a bang and announce Cyberpunk 2077: Rebooted for next gen consoles as the definitive version, and offer a free upgrade for those who purchased the previous version.

Because if the next gen version just runs better and has less bugs, I can't imagine many people caring at that point. It's been a year and most folk have moved on.

Them reporting this news by "regulatory announcements" is such a coward way to do it

I expected them to delay the Cyberpunk update, but TW3? WTF

Its being done by Saber. Wasnt expecting a 1 year delay for it.

They manage to fuck things up over and over again. What a shitshow this company became.

I was really excited by the recent thread about next gen Witcher getting rated. This news completely ruined that excitement. I couldn't really care less if they cancelled it at this point.

Cyberpunk is also a little disappointing, but this delay might pay off. With next gen being so far away still, I bet we will see a rock bottom sale price on the digital version of the old gen game before 2021 ends. I'm happy to "pre-order" next gen by buying the digital version of old gen for 10-20 if that becomes possible.

Have they even shown anything of the remaster? I played through W3 on my 3080 but stopped before the end and didn’t start the DLCs because of this update.

It was very easy to make the game look bad.

Unless they dramatically fix the jarring gameplay and AI in Cyberpunk I'm not interested in their upgrade.
In the recent leaks, it does seem like things like AI improvements, changes to the way difficulty is scaled so it's less bullet spongey, and a complete overhaul of the police system are all in the roadmap, though whether or not they will launch with the next gen patch is anyone's guess.

Very surprised the Witcher is delayed by so long. It must be quite a significant upgrade then.

Still haven't played Cyberpunk because I always intended to wait for the next gen version. Given how long they've been working on it and the awful reception to the initial release I'm expecting a good port.

They really don't need any more bad press lol, I'm sure they'll be intending to exceed expectations with these updates.

Hopefully it includes a systems overhaul. I only played a few hours on XSX but felt like it'd be better to wait for this.

First quarter 2022. Delayed until end of the year. Such a shame. I never preorder but I did based on the quality of the Witcher games. Guess I learned my lesson.
